  9. nice one robert, these folk are scum. they intimidate people, usually the old and vulnerable. i have done loads of jobs where folk like this have shafted someone and we need to fix them, the worst was a bow saw half way through a big lime over a kids nursery. they had went through about 50% of a 18" stem, luckily it was an old totempole pollard, so it wasnt too tricky to get down, but could of been much wore, cracking job there mate, they must be delighted
  10. does it do the vax thing, water through the carpet and sook it back up??
  11. the credit card thing is a great wee trick, but you MUST adhereto there policy and swap to another the second one is up. i have never done this myself but i know lots of people that have, but you need to be disciplined and not let one lapse or they will thump it into you
  12. ha ha ha, but dont tell my wife i laughed at this. lol
  13. that big smile is priceless johny, spoil them while you can mate:001_smile:
  14. nice one mate, good advice from someone that knows, i was just guessing:001_smile:
  15. he he, i am still getting used to having carpets in a house lol
  16. is that the same as a vax? as i am after one of them for the house, having 2 wee boys spilling stuff all day the carpet soon gets wrecked, i boroowed my nieghbours the other day and it was awesome, could that do the car and van seats too?
  17. run a line along the banking and clip onto that, giving you an esape route, use as big a bar as possible so to try and just work from the one side
  18. jcb finance is one of the best companies to deal with, as long as it isnt a competitor machine they will finance you, but if you have a low profit on the books for last year then you may struggle mate
  19. any climbing shop jamie, they arent to expensive, i have thought about them but i think they will be a pest tbh, and i worry you would get too much grip and twist a knee or ankle, i sometimes rope onto the tree for putting the gub in
  20. wow tom, it looks cool already. its a pity there is a horse in the last photo, it spoils the shot lol
  21. sure does, thanks. my dad is good at that stuff, i will get him to do it. thanks
  22. nice pics, the one i saw went into a liquidation auction, i think it made about 14k and it was under a year old. it went down south i think. it just purrs away and where it went was amazing when i saw it working, the guys could feed the tracked chipper with it aswell. good on you mate for taking the leep and buying such a good bit of kit, takes guts to do that:thumbup1:
  23. make business plan with projections on how the chipper will help you make money, then give it to them. but i would borrow of a family member if possible and offer them a better interest rate than what they are getting which shouldnt be to hard these days
