  1. He puts the chain break on both times, so all good. He looks a cautious climber so I can only presume he has checked his chainbreak on his brand new saw.
  2. Depends on how much the customer is willing to pay. Easy enough job if the money's right.
  3. Jeez that's slow! You'd be trying to crane feed it mate!
  4. If you see them and they look sturdy grab me 1 please!
  5. Cheers guys!
  6. I remember falling off the bail skid that got dragged behind the bailer, I was always the smallest! I remember my first go on a 3 wheeler at the bear park, panicked and put both feet down and ran them over! Kick start on the telly! Bet you can all hear the theme tune! Best not mention Jimll fix it or Rolf Harris!! Getting woke up because dads back from spotlighting foxes, and bought chips !!!!!!!! Trying to stand up in a trailer round the fields. Shooting anything with an Airgun! Putting crisp packets up the chimney!
  7. I've just seen 1 on Facebook:thumbup1: I remember a competition climber who ran round a monster gum had made his own from a Hoover , is this the same guy? Developed by Paul Cox? Are they available to buy? I hate my lanyard getting in the way, makes me mad:blushing:
  8. My mobile mechanic has been called out to 1 about 3 times in the last week. Imo the less solenoid sand electrics the better and make sure you get a manual throttle! They shake themselves to death Stump grinders, unless Predator has really improved since I demod 1 a few years back then I wouldn't have 1.
  9. I've been climbing with a back pack battery saw like the 1 Gray gits dreaming of for over 2 years, it's practical and last all day!
  10. That's a stealthy looking Bike! Very nice!
  11. The cable would be a pest! I did loads of hedges as a kid with electric hedge cutters! It was rubbish!
  12. I finally changed from contract to sim only month to month. I've got a 4g sim in an iPhone 4S, I was told it wouldn't get 4G, they never said I wouldn't get 3G! So no internet out and about! Do I need a newer phone or is there something I can do? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. No it's a local contract I have, didn't use much last year, need to fine tune the operation though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. No APF, that's my moving date! Tbh I don't get as excited about them, accomidation is a pain and food at the show is dire! What a buzz though your Mog on Alec's Stand! Say hi from me:) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Best of luck Stan:thumbup1: not going this year, first time I'll have missed it since Lockerbie 12 years ago!
  16. I've got a pallet barrow and the container floor is smooth. So I'll be moving it back and forward to the doors. It's just a spreadex spreader, so 15 shovels a load, x3 and it's job done. It will be swept up every time it's used, but I know what your saying. I'll try it this way as filling the grit bins around the site by hand, and then shoveling them out again is double handling! If the salt is damp it just clogs up.
  17. I missed that mate:blushing: Mogs doing great, it's been out solid the last month, hedge season finished at the end of July thank goodness and it's been doing what it's meant to do, had to spend 30 mins with JD and loader shoving up the chip mountain as I had ran out of room to turn in the yard. I may be moving the Mog on as life is taking a different direction in the next few weeks. Not 100% sure, I'll know better in a month.
  18. The salt will be dried out inside a warm factory for 2 weeks, so all residue will drop out onto a concrete floor and cleaned up, then I'll wrap it like Graham suggested and store outside and bring it in on the forklift and into the container for the minimum time. Thanks guys, this has really helped.
  19. Timber wolf, that's some crazy speeds !!!!! Did you do the work yourself?
  20. My mates just bought a brand new Honda 450, he loves it!
  21. Cheers guys, good idea with the cyclage wrap, I've got a roll,of it for some reason! Saws need watered TTP!! Graham, I'll bring you a case!!
  22. Lamens terms please, save me googling that big word:sneaky2:
  23. Thanks Graham, I was hoping that would be the answer! Now can I get a go of your skidder please?
