  1. CS 100 here, amazing little chippers. It changed my whole life the day I bought 1.
  2. Fair play guys, not a job I would ever want to do. A good door man always made you feel at ease.
  3. Terrifying!!! Thanks for the diagram Scotspine.
  4. The only rope I've ever owned I didn't like!! Horrible twisty stuff, even after milking it!
  5. As above! I built my Hiab trailer for £4k years ago. Look out for a good tandem axle trailer, pick up a Hiab for a grand, good tyres and then a fabricator!
  6. Ishoran, I use my selector grab for brambles and gorse, on small stuff I rip out and mash into a pile, even dig a hole every 20' and bury it, all job dependant and obviously discussed with customer. Gorse aswell, find an opening, pull out by the roots and stack to burn or again just bury! I'm not working on building sites so a gardener isn't going to get a surprise when he try's to dig a pond! I use the grab for draining and ditching too if the ground allows! It's great for pipe laying. Don't just spend what you can just now, listen to Eddie, don't just say yes but!!! Good luck😃
  7. Nice guy, rubbish at tree work!
  8. As a kid my dad acquired a shopping trolley on New Year's Day, I would fill it up out in the garage, broadside it into the house, down the steps and hey Presto( that's where trolley came from)
  9. They were driving through all the mud because it was a demo! Obviously on a site you would dodge the murkiest bits if you could, but if your inviting would be buyers in, you have to get the wheels mucky! That with a chip body, rear mount monster Hiab and huge front mount would be emmense!
  10. ive not trained properly in over 2 years! i was sore all the time and life revolved around the gym and i had loads going on in life so just chucked it. im at the stage now where i need to get back yo the gym, i eat well and lifes great, i have the time now and need to do some training, ive joined the local gyms and about to organise my induction. im 39 and been in a harness for nearly 20 years and my hips are feeling it.
  11. i stand corrected! that was awesome! 540 bhp!!! nice😄
  12. if you are wirking hard all day, dont expect the same lifts if you werent. concentrate on reps and adjust weight to suit!
  13. I've never got on with waterproof trousers, they hold in the heat, no manoeuvrability and having another waste band when in a harness is a pain. I wear bib n brace type waterproofs but never with cutting trousers, it's just brutal. I've been wearing a Swazi smock for 10 years now, it comes over my back side and down just above my knees and has a tie for the waist and a nice hood with a stiff brim. The only bit that gets wet is the bottom of my legs. Chainsaw trousers are pretty good in the rain, when it gets monsoon, nothing helps by that time it's just get the job done and have dry clothes in the truck. So my 2p, is make a longer jacket out of moleskin over goretex and have top pockets that an iPhone and wallet can fit in and forget the trousers. I bought the Swazi trousers, they are made from the same material, but are trousers and infuriate me, worn them twice in 10 years.
  14. All that just to see the hitch:laugh1: Serious truck, doubt it would last off road!
  15. 11am I reckon, Huck will of fitted in a couple of connies on the way home:biggrin:
