  1. How curved is the Margard in the window? I ask because mine is well curved under tension and I'm now starting to get all those tiny inner fractures that ruin the view.
  2. It needs to be as good as possible on juice, plus I simply have to be moved by compression-ignition.
  3. Are they are bad as reputed? Broken cranks, multitudes of other engine problems? Shame, real shame...

  7. Dear Rotatech, I was supposed to feedback about your .404 chain. Apart from the above, where it lost its edge within 10 minutes in larch thinnings, I've not retried it. Had it on the grinder this afternoon and it certainly sharpens beautifully. Soft? I'll give it another go soon... This is on a harvester.

  13. Sure. Most of this larch is 40+ top. Superb clean stuff, in south Devon. 12's, 16's?... Longer? Will pm you my number...
  14. It went for double that. Twas big stuff mind, average tops 70-100+ I know of some very clean big larch and that's going out at £60/t...
