  1. Second that. Isuzu best option otherwise. Major downside of import LC70 is single cab = no seat recline which tall peeps need. Extra/Super/King/Club cab everytime...
  2. Pre mills, timber was sawn in the woods so there was no roundwood haulage; hence all the hauliers here do "roundwood and sawn timber haulage". Folks I work with in the forestry call it roundwood (including everything - log, chip, firewood, pulp, bars, posts, stakes etc); cord as arby folks call it to us is just "firewood" roundwood...

  15. but still more than twice the price of rapeseed oil. Why the h would you spend that if rapeseed has given satisfactory service? That seriously adds up when you're getting through 30 litres a fortnight...
  16. Your trailer looks tidy; trade in against a tipper (nugent doing bonkers trade-ins at the moment for example i.e. £2k for scrap*) and you'd be sorted. *Or they were a month back when I was shopping!

  20. Green roundwood firewood is gold dust this year so seasoned must be rockin horse ****. Know folks with a lot of billets stacked up but not roundwood.
  21. Got southern beech in west devon... Roundwood haulage no probs, hands tied on £40/t roadside tho.

  23. Varies regionally, a lot. £65 here but west devon is lowest so given larch is £28/metre roadside £65 aint that profitable...
