  1. They were about £11k when I bought mine; whereas the M400 was £4k; a massive increase for an extra 1" and self drive; what's the £damage these days?
  2. My head hurts lol
  3. Then there are others nursing knackered old 1270A's and crying out for payment...
  4. Not everyone, you can't demand more for drier roundwood so selling water is where it's at. Someone needs to invent a laser lorry timber scanner, get rid of tonnage system once and for all. Then the rates can reflect the species and timber sizes where necessary.
  5. Yeah, sod the cutter, as long as they lose out you gain... Agreed, that is the messiest load I've ever seen, horrendous.
  6. Indeed. Recently I changed from 050 to 058 and hadn't figured on the increase in chain oil consumption, it was very noticeable. I tend to run the oiler at max regardless so perhaps should knock it back a little. The 050 was an original Dol 16" and I changed to a Dol 15" which happened to be 058, down the rack it ran out of oil before the fuel did...
  7. Dunno but once done, I've been running 21 LPX...

  14. Hmmm, I rebuilt a crushed 341 with Hutzl parts, they were cheap for a reason, nasty fit and finish.
  15. Eat honey produced by bees in your area; problem solved.
  16. Online bacs transfer with smartphone?
  17. Pros and cons of inboard clutches? I thought inboards had shorter crank and repositioned oil pump so the ultimate position of the bar mounts were no further out anyway? Inboards stay much cleaner and you can change the sprocket far more easily...
  18. 10000000000% agree:thumbup1:
