  6. Had a quick go with the o rig yesterday and ive got to say i really liked it! can see it bein really useful for long ascents and comin in from a big branch. Will hopefully have the time to play about with it properly next week. Cheers for posting the pic Drew

  8. Hi there mate cheers for the comments,i use a nikon coolpix p80 camera. Im not very good at takin pictures but after lookin at some on here its something i can see myself gettin into! Dont think i would of liked to of eaten those red ones! i cut one open and it was a weired blue colour inside:scared1:...might let the groundy try it first haha
  9. It was bob yes and i agree with what your sayin about the hinge and also what skyhuck says about the sink needing bein more open faced. To be honest its very rare we get to actually fell a large trunk or tree! most stuff is in a tiny back garden with no room to swing a cat nevermind fell a tree!
  10. I think in this profession we've probably all had moments that when the tree,branch or log has hit the deck and we've had a minute to think about whats just happened and thought "god im glad that went right"....generally dont do it twice though? haha

  15. Cheers guys i hear wot your sayin about a bigger gob but there was a great big hole in one side of the tree and i wanted to try and leave as much sound wood as possible to use for the hinge. I like the idea of usin the butress roots to hold it though steve. Here's a pic of the stump
