  1. Dear experts, at work we have a stihl ms290 , hate the thing! Wen using it in big wood it tends to choke up and die but if using on small limbs etc it's fine. Is clutch on the way out? It still has the original size bar an chain. sent from my office in the field via s3
  2. Here is the new log splitter I use, I extended the hydraulic pipes so could connect to mog but at same time run the palax so spilt big trunks then straight onto palax. sent from my office in the field via s3

    Well I find it strange same as spud, at end of the day it's still a petrol and oil mix, yes I know different brands of oil but still doing the same thing. It's not very practical have to tune a saw every time a different mix is used.

    This is a great program! Just watched the second one and was very impressed With the rig carrying ship! Treequip, not sure a parachute be much good as the building is in steps you would hit them if you know what I mean. sent from my office in the field via s3

    Well couldn't really find out wrong with the saw and happened to try a different mix of fuel and it's fine, revving like it should and power how it should be too. Thanks everyone for help. sent from my office in the field via s3
  15. Slasherscot, farmers can and do use there own produced seed but pay a royalty to the seed breeder for doing so. We set as side some of our beans from harvest time to sow in the spring. sent from my office in the field via s3

    Have had filter out and it's clean, then took diaphragm out and it looks ok. That's as far as I have got. got day off tomorrow so investigate further if chance. sent from my office in the field via s3

    Evening chaps, I have a problem with my 357xp misfiring I swapped the spark plug still doin the same. Any ideas? Was blown off and cleaned not long since but has done some work since that. Any pointers much appreciated thanks. sent from my office in the field via s3
