  2. Todays job Dead Robina the wood on the trunk stank bad the bark was falling off and had worms and wood lice and bugs under it at least it was not raining:thumbup1:
  3. The seed is the most poisonous part the red fleshy bit will not harm If you are that concerned fence the tree off I have young children and they have never touched them yet

  11. I use a Blakes hitch with a Micro pulley I like it but it sometimes tightens up to much

I was made redundant from my full time job so had nothing to lose I was lucky as i already had training with chainsaws and equipment from my days working for leicestershire county forestry dept & also Warwickshire forestry dept I had also built up a good customer base from my part time work where in the midlands are you based you cant be to far from me

Hi the best thing you can do is work hard do a nice tidy job and always leave the site spotless, be fair with the customers If you do all of this they will have you back next time and also word of mouth is the best advert in the world. If you are doing tree work never take on trees that you are unsure of Try and team up with a local firm or get a contract climber in to help People work together all the time there is nothing wrong with that There may be people on here that will help out on big jobs Good luck with what you are doing I went from part time to Full time 2 years ago and have not looked back since. It is hard work but it is worth it I do the same as Ty Lawns one week and trees and hedges the other In the winter we do trees, hedges & fire wood
