  1. Good luck with that Dean. I bet its a good earner.
  2. Ive been asked to take down this Cherry. Its very close to a house and I would like some opinions please as to whether it should be removed in one or spread out over a few years to avoid heave. My instincts tell me to do it in two stages over a three or four year period. I would like to know other peoples opinions please.
  3. N/Ireland 1981.
  4. Dont maples bleed between now and full leaf ?

  6. Buzz: It,s a Camon 275 petrol. Dean: That was an extremely time consuming job, and as the day wore on it turned out really sunny and melted the snow. Had a pop at it myself for a bit, I have not climbed since the third of Jan due to me nuptials. Fantastic feeling to get the OLD climbing muscles working again.
  7. Myself, the wife/groundie and Rich Rule were booked in to do a large cherry takedown today. For one reason and another we did,nt do it, I,ll post about it later in another thread as I,m seeking advice on it. Anyway I had this waiting in the wings, so the day was,nt wasted. 11. I,ve just spoke to the curator at Bedgebury and have arranged to meet him on Thursday the 12th to discuss it. He said we could climb "The Old Man of Kent" no problem. We can talk about dates after Thursday, find out what suits everyone. Where are you based Dave ? Mick.
  12. Anyone is welcome mate, but tell me what is a Kentish Yeoman That,s a new one on me.
  13. Fear not Rich, for a small fee (£50) I can arrange an honourary man of Kent day ticket. Seriously though, that,s five so far so I,ll give Bedgebury a call today to see if it can be done. Start thinking of a back up venue in case they say no.
  14. That,s not offensive.
  15. What a laugh! Sounds like it tickled you.
  16. "getting away with it" that,ll make the wife/groundie laugh. Ive seen her dangling six feet off the ground trying to hang onto something. Hahahahaha. Damn I should have got her a lowering kit for christmas
