  1. Best of luck Gaz . Sure you'll make it happen
  2. Got to be Frostie's . In the army years ago I used to have two bowl's of Sugar Puffs every morning Now I hate the smell of them .
  3. I like this and there whole concept of respect . Especially in the ring as the pre fight actions are quite powerful . As an emotional person I can see how this can really benefit both fighters . On the flip side get to emotional and you can lose sight of the utlimate goal and get sloppy
  4. Simple and effective
  5. Interesting the feet being dirty and the head being closer to the heavens . Make's sense though . Jack dempsy used to soak his hands and face in brine water . I did hear of the urine thing once or twice . Just glad I,ve never witnessed it
  6. Do any of you guy's do any hand / fist or knuckle conditioning . I.ve been rubbing surgical spirits on my hands on and off for a couple of years . After my daily pounding on a small sand filled football . Not trying to hijack your thread Rich just thought it had some bearing on the matter
  7. Top Vids Rich . Love the elbow strikes in the last vid . The front kick used by the Muay Thai guy's is very effective and is not really used by many in MMA Guy's .
  8. Another nice reduction
  9. You got a good eye for reductions Rich

  13. Nice job . Looks a bit exposed now but a good view
  14. When you put it like that it sounds great
  15. Safety first guy's I just can't get me head round the fact that the way the ladders were attached to the wall ? If the sky man fell the ladders would of gone over to ? Unless he hadn't tied them properly to start with ?
  16.
  17. I watched as a Sky TV Engineer pulled up next to this mornings job . He put on his harness , hard hat and goggles . Then removed the ladders from the ladder rack and fixed his safety line to them . He then placed the ladders against the wall and proceeded to drill a fixing to the wall so he could attach a ratchet system from the ladders to the wall . So the ladder would not slip away from him .When all this was done he clipped into his safety line and advanced all the way up the ladders to the final working height of 13ft . Has the world gone mad ? Red tape or just company protocol ? Oh after all that he was done up the ladder in under 5 mins No disrespect intended to anyone . Just seems all a tad OTT .
  18. I still call them 020's its an age thingy:lol:
  19. You can sometimes drop on a good steel pulley that's been used in the shipping trade on the bay . I have a few small steel pulleys which came off a large sailing ship. They were used for rigging . Anyhow that old 4x4 snatch block took some abuse off us lot . It would also allow up to 19mm rope without a problem . Think we just welded a plate either side so it could not fall apart
  20. I used an adapted 4x4 snatch swing pulley for years . It served me well
  21. Greatest story ever told The Bible ? It seems to me the that there are to many variations .
  22. Sounds cool
  23. Iv'e met Sir Ranulph fiennes and he is a character . Although very arrogant . Never read any of his books . Maybe I should Last book for me was Chariots of the Gods which Iv'e read twice now lol . Currently I'm reading a Kohler maintenance manual
  24. Nice
