  1. Routine maintenance uncovered this little fella . Can you see him . This shell or bearing must of popped out of the housing . Only the slightest play in he flywheel . Ah well glad I regularly maintain and inspect my gear . Seem to recall a guy off here who had greaseable bearings fitted ? . I,m off to find the other posts on this matter now . If only Mr Lofthouse lived next door we can but dream .
  2. Had my rep round the other day . He kinda avoided telling me of the size reduction . Although price is the same . As said before 1/4 column is just that only now its harder to read .
  3. You should do your own hair . Ive been trimming mine with Wahl Balding clippers for a few years now . They get a really close cut . Hey why not start a wee clipper club

  11. Is it light blue and does it have bull bars ? Seen one pulling a small jenson chipper today . Just looked a bit odd kinda outta place and it was a P reg . Although was light blue as said .
  12. Get to job - only around -4 so quite warm by recent standards. Trouble was the thick fog meant the ground crew could not be seen! A revision to the risk assessment and dynamic adjustment to working procedures (don't even think of walking anywhere under the tree without confirmed verbal contact from above) and I climbed up for the second time. Slipped on icy branch and tore skin off left index finger joint - kept on bleeding - blood on rope, on chainsaw etc. Climbed down for a wound clean and a plaster. Back up again for the third time and start the dismantle of the Ash. Started to get a bit cold despite working hard - tree covered in Hoar Frost - then ropes started to freeze. Quit job and headed back to yard in thick, freezing fog - wipers frozen again. Hope tomorrow improves My day went similar to yours . Only I,ve now decided to have the rest of the week off

  20. We,ve been work all week thanks to the landy . Sure is cold though . Little bit of chipping today and finish off a Euc . Impossible to tidy up
