  3. Cool cheers for your help with that. That's not a lot of torque is it, I was hoping it was guna be more so I don't have to buy a new torque wrench:001_smile:
  4. Evening all, just about to change the clutch on my positioner but finding it difficult to read what torque you actually need. Diagram reads: 3-4nm,26,5-35,4 IN-Lbs. not exactly very clear! Has anyone else figired this out? Cheers
  5. I think id go as far as saying its the best app in the world! . Its great wen you battle with friends on segments. And wen you get home from a decent ride and strava starts uploading your results, its probably the best part of the whole ride
  6. Does anybody use strava for mountain biking? I used it while on the roads, if your competitive it takes your riding to a differnt level and is alot of fun with friends
  7. I was told that jensen chippers are refurbished quite often because there paint tends to age quite quickly, which is quite inkeeping with the fact that most refurbished chippers i have found are jensens.

    snow

The climate in the south east has been mad at the moment. With it snowing in scotland weve had a pretty consistent 14 degrees. Worked in my tshirt most days. I was gearing myself up for the temperature drop 2 weeks in november and it dropped for as day or so and went right back its like spring down here! lol im gratefull for that though, more heat, no more snow. yes please
  10. I use air streams through summer and then haix protector pros over winter. The protector pros are your reliable winter boots, never leak through etc but really noticing how much less agile and grippy they are then the airstreams.

I was guna add that the more service history you can get the better and is worth waiting a little while longer for... but see that youve choose one already good luck hope its a good one and check the dipstick, better still take one of your mechanic mates:thumbup1:
  12. I guess its a case of there rules there way. Heres another idea for you assuming you tow a road chipper, pull up at a pump that isnt that visible from there till then fill up the cans next to your chipper. Everyone except the extremely observant will just thinking your filling up your machine and will leave you alone..
  13. Also however relevant this is sainsburys are the fussiest place for checking cans, maybe try a differnt garage if you have one close enough
  14. If its just combi cans your filling maybe thats drawing attention. Id be tempted to buy a 20l jerry can and fill that along with a combi can and top the combi can up as you need it during the day. At a quick look they can see what your upto and maybe leave you alone.
  15. Try using a respirator or real good quality dust mask next time you take on abit of ivy whitehead it makes a big differnce. If your getting a dustmask get grade ffp3 which is the finest grade. Ive known a few people who have had a similar reaction to that. I personally think its the dust as most people use gloves with that kind of job.
  16. Its not quite that one Dan theres a few on there with differnt ages and hours. Thanks for your help with the price global
  17. I remember something similar with one of my saws, it turned out to be the filter not sitting at the bottom of the tank properly. My favourite kind of tool fix, easy and free
  18. A540, 2011 1280 hours. Its from a main dealer, just had a respray and been through the workshop etc etc Im thinking of buying it but dont know a whole lot about what these models go for. Cheers
  19. Looks like a fun day out with a leaf blower aswell
  20. Would be good to get an official word on it, find out exactly what they improved
  21. And yeah the extra man dragging and a bigger chipper has much more potential. Its surprising how much the bigger chipper alone can speed things up.
  22. MOTORISED JOCKEY WHEEL - Solid Wheel 12v Electric Caravan Trailer Mover 12 Volt | eBay. Thats the link to what i found Billy. It was just a quick search im sure theres a whole range to suit differnt weights. That can take 120 kg on the jockey wheel and a towing capacity of 1800kg.
