  1. Do they have a retractable lanyard mechanism hidden inside them Carl?
  2. Nice one on the rescue Larry. Ask Karen if she could contact the local paper and get them to run a story on it (include a pic of yourself in your harness stroking a pussy). The good PR and free advertising would be worth more than the invoice. Good luck mate!
  3. I'm getting a bit sick of that McMahon fella nicking all my ideas.
  4. If this thread was about thinning hair I could give loads of advice, but my advice on thinning trees would be about as much good as it does the tree. None.
  5. Gutted. Well done for trying though mate.
  6. Well done guys. 2 1/2 years down the line for me, and bar the odd drink-fuelled hiccup or spliff I know I've cracked it. I've just spent over a week sitting outside French cafes drinking coffee, beers and wine and didn't even want a Gitane! I still think the smoking ban was harsh, but it made a lot of sense. I've put on a bit of weight, but I've increased my bench by 40kg and saved £3700*, so it's a fair trade. * - not sure where that's gone, mind.
  7. Ace Drew. The expression on Scottys face at the end says it all. Loved the production and soundtrack as well.
  8. Sorry lads, I was day-dreaming that I had a job working for Justin....
  9. Took down a healthy red Oak today (building structural issues, apparently). Table top on stump, bench and milking stools. Finished by 3 a lot richer!
  10. My erectile function? I've lost it recently.
  11. I cook most nights, whatever time. I like cooking, and I like drinking while I cook. Ice cold lagers or red or rose wine seem to taste pretty good when I'm chopping peppers and garlic, whilst chatting on here usually. My wife is a good cook as well, but it makes sense for her to continue her computer based shite, sorry, accountancy work, while I get tea on.
  12. And better endowed. They look a lot bulkier than Crodas though don't they mate? I may try to source another couple of pairs. A few co's still advertise them.
  13. True Rich, too true. Paul, do you mean tracked chipper on Ifor behind L200? Great for local jobs, shite when you have to start running loads.
  14. Aye, you'll dig it into the ground quick on soft stuff if you've a heavy wrist! Awesome setup, but don't ever let it kick.
  15. Gay. Overpriced. Gay. I want some. I could have outclimbed Forrest if I had some.
  16. Damn that's two in a week! Did you see my 'anchor point snaps out thread'? Glad you're OK Ewan, the distances don't sound that macho, but we all know they are enough to kill you or mash you up badly. That glass could have messed you up for sure. Thanks for posting bro, let's all stay healthy ay?
  17. Good workhorse that Paul. What are you getting instead, or you you just going full time on the porn acting now?
  18. Aye, loving the colour Stevie. Looking very sweet. All you need now is a buff body like mine and a pair of Oakleys and you're all set.
  19. Whilst I still think a straight fell would have been my chosen route, it would have been an interesting hinge for sure!
  20. You lot are mental. Would you really have climbed that bag of pap knowing the extent of the decay when you could have moved the targets? The thing was, it was climbed without knowing the extent of the decay. Out of interest, does anyone know of a case where a tree failed at the base whilst being climbed? Not root plate, I know that's happened.
  21. What do you think mate? I cut trees down for a living!
