  1. I got sick of catching my nuts on the taps though.
  2. Stubby speaks from experience. The last time he put a ladder up over a boundary line was in a trench in 1916.
  3. The way he’s going about it. Anyone with a shred of decency would talk to the neighbour, rather than just getting a contractor in to eat a shit sandwich for him. I do hear you, and Gary. If the neighbour doesn’t want his tree touched he shouldn’t have planted one so close to the boundary (although I bet he didn’t plant it). He is probably a colossal bell end as well. Neighbour disputes are the bane of my life, although I like to think I’m pretty good at resolving them. I just flick my muffs down after pretending I’m Polish.
  4. As above, but you won’t be able to climb the tree without the neighbours permission. MEWP job if it’s a big tree. And, yes, it will look shite. Your client sounds like a massive bell end.
  5. I was joking Stu. Her chain is only long enough to get from the kitchen to the bedroom.
  6. But my wife lives in Kent?
  7. Am I still good for that pint though Kev?
  8. That clip of the American General (?) with the speech about making your bed each morning is pretty good.
  9. I’m sure it was Spike Hunter who had a similar tale, but Mrs. Merristwood-Pilkington-Smythe or whoever said ’Have you any idea who I am?’ To which he replied ’None whatsoever. Which means you aren’t half as important as you think you are.’ Flipped muffs down and cranked saw up. Priceless.
  10. It doesn't really matter if you're motivated or not, we're all going to die in the end.
  11. Good luck with the recovery mate, glad you made it. I've been boarding in the Alps and some of the terrain makes you consider your routes very, very carefully.
  12. Jesus Peds! Are you off work then?
  13. Check out the 'Prices for Council Tender' thread in Business Management mate. @Jamie Jones seems to have a particularly good handle on it.
  14. ? Made it too easy for you there Al!
  15. I had a constant high-pitched whining in forward or reverse, but it stopped when I dropped the wife off.
  16. Here you go @MattyF @Mark J @billpierce @silky fox
  17. I’ve never seen one done, ever. It’s something truly achievable by about 1 person in 100,000 I think. I love my chins, but climbing efficiently is about using the brain and the big muscles.
  18. I do get you Khriss, but I’m not paying for something I’ve known how to do for a long time. Maybe it should be like Grandad rights on your licence....
  19. Khriss, do you really think it needs to be a separate CS unit? I for one wouldn't be happy having to pay for something I've been doing for years without dying at all. Then refreshing it, yada yada yada....
