  1. I know Jon normally depends on how much you get in a delivery as too what the price is.
  2. Yeah have a good night Paul Nudge nudge wink wink
  3. Steve, Garden kit, is there a complete fix for the early 261 clutch drum problem? I have replaced the drum and bearing once but then it started cutting out again when the chain brake is applied, mine is an early one so never really got sorted and just sits never getting used but I would like it serviceable.
  4. Yeah but the thieves brought your tools back stubby cos they were soooooo old!
  5. Wet birds on a shoot? Really stubby.....at your age! It's dark here Jon
  6. Haha yeah we don't want one of his regular slags on here!
  7. Yes I agree and pops are bad but I'm not talking about hat racking I'm talking about say a 2m reduction on an oak, beech etc, why reduce the sides but not in height?
  8. My landlord would struggle to work 4 months a year, after harvest and a bit of ploughing he is off to his house in Scotland shooting till Christmas, Scotland till spring then plods on till autumn again! He is a great guy and openly admits modern arable farming is a doddle
  9. I did say arable, yes farming is a sweeping statement and anything to do with animals is v hard, low land arable has always been good.
  10. Sorry, yeah dairy is hard work I ment arable farming.
  11. There has always been money in farming, farmers just don't like too admit it.
  12. But why lateral and not height? I'm not a big fan of reductions either and I tend too agree with leave or fell but Joe public doesn't really understand that I would rather see a properly reduce tree than no tree at all.
  13. And I come from a farming back ground! Tree men are just as guilty in many ways and use the excuse of "it's OK I'm a tree surgeon " but it ain't when others ae at risk.
  14. I'm not a mechanic or mot tester but I have a very good idea on the state of my trucks and trailer, farmers choose not to bother as "ittal bee reet"
  15. Why? Can't really see the problem as long as it's done right as per bs3998.

  18. Haha yeah, I took some stuff down a few months ago and had to provide an address and business details all for a tenner!
  19. Looks like Later stages of HCBC.
  20. Bet you didn't know that out caravan friends are exempt from any of this if there in the showmans guild! Was told this as I argued the toss with a VOSA inspector at a weigh bridge after getting pulled.
  21. I agree mate, if it wernt for subs many farmers would have too truly work for a living!
  22. And just about the only industry that is heavily subsidised!
