  2. That would be a dteam come true my friend:cool: instead of standing in a dark train station like i am now waiting for a train to Reading i'd be cruising up the motorway with tunes playing:thumbup:

  5. Wow...what a long day. Got home at 9 so i,ve been on the go for 18 hours.Been Carrying around full PPE and Climbing kit plus Climbing saw.On the plus side my Stamina is going up and recovery time is getting shorter but it will be a rest working close to home next week.Having said that,i am really enjoying being the travelling Arborist for a couple of weeks..Seen some new places and meeting so good Characters:001_cool:..My intention was not save money just to be able to fill the fridge, pay the rent and build a reputation as a keen as mustard Arborist who turns up wherever and gives 110%...To put myself out there and document it....I arrived 30 mins late after three changeovers by train from Kew to Stowmarket thanks to good old Network Rail:sneaky2: Andy,s wife met me at the station and took me to site(Much appreciated:thumbup1:)...As per usual met my new boss went over what was required and cracked on. Straight forward 90% Connifer reduction:lol:..nothing too taxing, just lots of stems with a gusty wind across the flat fields so pulled each one over... with a bit of cut and hold over the poly tunnel..Andy was a pleasure to work with and not at all grumpy:thumbup:...And to top it all he bought me some "Rare breed Pork Sausages"..from the customer who Kept Rare Pigs,Sheep.....now that,s a Bonus:thumbup:....Thanks for the work Andy!....See you in the Morning Delabodge...Any advance on the Bonus stakes:001_tt2:

  11. Only problem i found with kiwis is that they have very thin skin so as soon as it gets to Autumn its Game over until summer...they grind to a halt or flee the country:D...and they use very sticky throwbags..aleays getting stuck..saw three harrison rockets in a tree once..they must be the stickiest...

  16. Week 2 for the travelling Arborist..had an early night and woke at 3am! Feel well rested and needed to up at 4 anyway...it meant that i could take my time, enjoy my breakfast and chill at Kew Gardens Station..stage 1 of my 3 part journey to Suffolk where i shall be climbing for Andy Collins...lovely peaceful morning as i arrived here, just the suprisingly quiet drone of the first passanger plane of the day...the A380 with it's 75 metre wingspan looked like a prehistoric creature in the dark sky and low with it,s landing gear down...travelling all week to jobs but have work closer to home soon...after today i have 2 days in Twyford with Delabodge and the lads and ending the week with Stockers:D...trains almost here...LETS DO THIS!!
  17. Then me:001_smile:...Do you have a copy of "Touch Trees?" by mr Shigo?
