Went out for a celebration drink with an old mate of mine last night...Ross has recently returned from a stint in Canada with Davey trees..he was telling me that it can get so cold there that Once the engines in vehicles and chippers are warmed up in the morning they are left running the whole day otherwise the oil freezes!

Tis indeed the season to see fungi "tra la la la la!"...some great posts i've just caught up on..the pin head fungus is quite amazing David! Wasn't he the Star of the movie Hellraiser? just seen the forcast for the weekend...Sunday is set to be a fine Sunny Autumnal day....so i'm going on a cycling fung hunt in Richmond Park:) -
