  4. It is now officially my favourite T.V programme...totally amazing! great presenting and camera work...SUPERB!! the burj is such an uplifting skyscraper (No pun intended) what about the diver who unblocks the worlds most toxic sewer in Mexico! he is the bravest man i,ve ever seen!

What an wonderful day...Rained for most of it and i loved every minute of it:biggrin: As usual not seen anything but Parks except for when we stopped by typical London blocks to get lunch...i am still Eating healthy,,,two slices of toast for brekkie and for lunch...Chinese chicken noodle soup....Twas delicious and the lady who made it for me was Beautiful:001_smile: London has some great eateries....Photos of today,s work to follow!

  8. Climbed on a hitch climber with a tree motion harness yesterday as my kit hasn,t arrived yet..... Tree motion harness is LUXURY! hitch climber is so YESTERDAY! tending your rope SUCKS:thumbdown: and the "Sit back" is crap....SPIDERJACK RULES!!!:thumbup:

  10. yes,everything is brand new and anything we ask for we get....(Like the Hobbes block) but remember this is a brand new department and in order to tackle any job you need the right kit. the stumpy will be getting dual wheels and the levers are chunky...i think next on the shopping list is a large Ifor Williams as we had to borrow one from grounds maintenance. Can,t say much about the Continental thing..... i,m gonna be doing the tool box talks which is something i,ve always wanted to do:thumbup: and organising regular ariel rescue practice (essential part of a well tuned tree team) The boss loves my enthusiasm and i shall be pushing for promotion every chance i get:biggrin:...i just love this industry and like things done by the book and in a proffesional way..he said we are having a photo shoot soon..and of course i have already been e mailing him lots of work pics.....ok....nuff said off to work...have a productive day lads!
  11. Dropped off about three tons of maple to my mate last night....he split it and this was the result:)
  12. in this day and age people who hang around public spaces and places where kids and their mums go every day and intimidate are dodgey...remember this tree was above a childrens play area where these guys drink and shouldn,t in my opinion be allowed...not right.. end of.
  13. Ha ha! i know what you,re saying but they are the same crowd in the park apparantly who have been bothering the old folk and kids...when asked to stop their behaviour they have been getting violent with the park staff,,,i,d lock em up simple especially when children are concerned:sneaky2:

    Knife attack

    just before the Knife attack a Man walked through my work site in south London...i put my hands up to stop him and said there was about a quarter ton piece of wood about to come down on and could he please walk around..."Blad!" he said....."move man!" i cant let you come through sir it,s a work site and is not safe or legal to allow you to walk through.... fuming with rage,the suited youth said,"Wait here man!" you gonna get shot in your f.......g head blad wait here!!!" he stormed off through the work site.....as we were doing the final tidy up i saw him returning round the corner with a bag under his arm about an hour later...heading up the street towards me.....checking all the tools were packed and the blower was removing the last of the Plane dust from the pavement i calmly said,"Right let,s do one...in the truck pedal to the metal and left that area quick sharp and on to the next job a couple of miles away....i wasn,t waiting to find out. Did my time on Londons mean streets...never again will i work on Street trees in the Capital...There are Loonies everywhere...
