  1. Some mornings were beautiful...as if the City wasn't there...just the Thames. I lived on a 60ft narrowboat then in a Dutch tugboat.
  2. going through files of pictures from my London years....I do miss something. The view on a morning from my narrowboat near Kew bridge.
  3. Feels like the roof is going to get torn off:eek: @high on a hill in Northumberland.
  4. Happy new year Dexta...I little bit of treework...a lot of journalism and media stuff with some tutoring thrown in for good measure! Getting closer to my dream:) now if I can get Mrs Fox to move up here.... i am almost there.
  5. Not a bad monday at all. The boss is looking forward to moving Into his new home....and I recieved an interesting e mail regarding a position of part-time tutor at Kirkley Hall within the Arboricultural department....this should be an interesting year!
  6. Back to work....feel rough as bulks lugs..never did shake this cold...in fact my cough got worse...but I did have the best xmas ever...so.....starting new yesrs resolutions...number 1. Live within my means ...and eat healthier with an allowance of just one coffee per day!
  7. Further education is an option...id like to do a course in media....teaching/assesing is also ony mind. Whats DART Dan?
  8. Airstreams are the most comfortable climbing/ground boot ever!! (In my opinion:rolleyes:) on spikes they are perfection:thumbup:

I made sure I stayed in the pub till the very end..its been the longest and best holiday I've had in years.i needed it more than I've ever needed time off work.this is the first time in my life that I've ever felt tired or run down.I've been onthe tools for about 19 years now and I can feel it..even Mrs Fox commented how tired I looked when she saw me..id be happy to use my brain instead of my brawn this year....of all the people I look to for answers there is one person who I listen to more than anyone....My Son and he was a great help on friday night even if he looked like a crackhead with one of those E Cigarettes in his gob:D......Good Luck everyone in tonight's Raffle....Tis Very Exciting!

  15. Bearing in mind Samuel I have had NO broadband/signal at home for 6 months....I'm happy with this:thumbup:
