  1. Hope the weather is good for the APF Jon:thumbup:
  2. Everything gets throwlined but due to the downpour, not today. I Will fire a couple of hundered shots with it over the next few of days. But I am well aware of how it performs already. Used to stick a 10 oz weaver bag on it then a Harrison Rocket. It will have the slug on it tommorow which I have been using for the past couple of years with great success.
  3. But compared to the "Liros magic speed" I use it is quite thick (but strong).
  4. It doeshave a nice waxy finnish to it and a tactile braid.
  5. Thanks for the throwline Skyland and the oppertunity to review it.I am very familiar with this polyethylene stuff.Twas the first line I bought in fact so I already know it well.
  6. It was refreshingly cold at 5 a.m....the temperature has risen dramatically since then.My Work mate Norman is suffering a little too.I'm also being eaten alive by harvest flies...I am very tempted to dive into this sheep trough.
  7. Sometimes when I need to think, I walk the short distance to Durham Cathedral.it fills me with inspiration. Fine wooden carvings...building work both inside (lego construction) and outside. But today I went to see the Durham Light Infantry Flags.i can't imagine the scenes they have been carried through......

Finally feel 100% again.wednesday was a memorable day.Met Lois:) She was the Boss for the day.Only ever worked with one Girl Arb so it made a very welcome change from this male dominated industry.Although she was a distraction.Immagine....a woman who loves tree climbing....chainsaws and machinery! And one of the most enthusiastic people I have ever met. That's perfection in my world.
  11. Message "Grey Git" on here...if anyone knows...he will. And he's just down the road from Darlo:)
