  1. Found a hidden courtyard and cleared it...Removed timber and last mulching
  2. Last day today.....rain stopped as we arrived at site thankfully..Monkeyallan made a friend at the traffic lights.
  3. We have removed so many trees but a few have been retained
  4. Then all that was left to do was mulching and snagging
  5. I experienced my first drags on over six weeks..a courtyard with tiny access within the walled confines of the old Convent....
  6. The first phase got signed off and the client was very happy so all was left to do was any extras...so back to the beautiful city of York with a little magical mystery tour courtesy of Monkeyallan

  12. It's St.Mary's Convent in York. The Site is to be turned into student accommodation. It is a beautiful place built in 1860. Once home to Nuns who were completely self sufficient back in the day....only on Nun remains.
  13. Although we have removed the vast majority of trees to enable building work to begin feature trees have been retained.
  14. Very interesting day today, got a new member of the team today.Henry the Harris Hawk. We have had phase one of the clearance job signed off and are back to do extras. With only a few trees left we were using the services of this pest/bird control chap to disused and birds to choose to nest in any of the remains trees...all overseas by our friendly ecologist who has been on site since the beginning of the Project.
  15. Thanks so much for the Birthday wishes...means a lot to me:) it was a crazy night.always is when I drink with my son...I'm saving the big celebration for my half century...everyone's invited. Going to be Tree related festivities! But that's three years away. Got this fish eye app and drank tequila. ...jaeger bombs and a couple of Old Roses so I was proppa wasted but in a good way. There are some strange objects in the Elm Tree.This is An ET figure next to a Crab paperweight

  17. It's very VERY light Jon....lot of climbers use them. If I didn't use a Protos then I would use a Husky Tech.

  20. It's my Birthday in one hour 20 minutes so where else would I be but in the Elm with my Son ....
  21. Hindsight is 20/20 vision...
  22. Impressive set of pictures Matt...what a cool sight made even more dramatic because of the cloud I reckon,as are Garden macs with the green haze.
