  2. Last time I was here was 12 years ago.I was pretty much at rock bottom health wise and it was good to return to Otley now I have made a complete recovery.Quite a poignant moment standing outside this pub....without going in.Nice History to it though
  3. Not far from sight is the town of Otley. It has a famous son.Thomas Chippendale.
  4. ICY Trees is a fair man and is paying me for my time and asked me to come in on Wednesday for Plan B....and I always find something to do with my spare time.I am the seeker!??
  5. No other options were available...just one of those days.
  6. The handler was going to ferry the Hawthorn/Elder over from the perimeter we were to be cutting.Take it to the digger which would feed the bandit. The site dropped down a bank which would have been even worse than the top field.
  7. But unfortunately rain and melting snow was going to put a stop to this job....The large area was just to wet and muddy and getting worse by the hour.
  8. And it,s not too bad here. The rain is melting the snow.
  9. With the Forcast looking like Snow this morning I added a kettle to my Trangia set.Sure enough when i woke up about 3.30 a.m there was a blanket of snow already. If i could get out of the city and onto the motorway I should get to site within a couple of hours.Traffic was down to one lane and 40 mph for most of the 70 mile journey...but I got here 10 minutes early!
  10. Really happy for you both and what super pictures!

  16. I can appreciate creativity Shires which is what you have shown here. But I,m pleased to hear that most of your work is Tree related now.It would be great to work with you sometime!
  17. But seriously I cannot fault them.Sip and Pfanner are are great quality chainsaw trouser but I think Arbpro have the edge.I have the non protective climbing trousers too.Chainsaw boots and clip n climb boots...oh and an Arbpro throwbag. All quality gear.
  18. I won,t ask how you know Mr Stubby[emoji848]?
  19. That,s odd...I,ve been wearing the Arb pro,s for a year now.I have to say they are the most comfortable trouser I have ever worn and they are perfect for climbing.A bit warm in the summer but superbly fitting. No issue with the inner lining. They are extremely hard wearing too.
  20. I,ve exercised...done my e mails...watched a bit of Reg and now Buckin so I,m ready for the day!
