  1. Small piece of wire with a speaker type flat blade connection underneath the switch in the handle. Pretty simple to get to and replace / refit.
  2. nice bit of feather edge boarding there mate, round here we just do yorkshire boarding for obvious reasons, haha
  3. Of course it's possible to have too many. If you have too leave one outside cos it won't fit in the workshop then you have one too many. Haha. If space and money ain't a problem then keep them.
  4. I was only messing mate. I agree with type of fire. Poplars not what I would put on my open fire.
  5. I think "both are meant to burn" is a bit loose terminology. matchsticks are meant to ignite something and be put straight out. Coffins aren't burnt to warm the cremetorium are they. Dried poplar does burn but so does a wheelie bin. Haha. I would always say "poplar is certainly not one of the best burning timbers for warmth" rather than "poplars crap firewood".
  6. Some nice shots there mate. Ever since I started the "one and only mighty franks randome picture" thread, everyone seems to think they are David Bailey. It's like a blooming art gallery in here these days. Haha.
  7. If it's wood it will burn. But what is the calorific value of poplar?
  8. Mesterh: earlier I think you mentioned that you only do natural crotch rigging? What do you do about pruning trees to be retained or trees with tpos?

  12. stump grinding seems like hard work to me.
  13. wonder what damage a brown and pink nike sneaker would do if it went through a chipper. Say a BANDIT for instance???
  14. why not just price on half days??
  15. and some you can rotate as they wear, and replace when neccessary.
  16. Christ dont let the "x" men see this video haha
  17. Don't need really long cord if you find the bungee stuff like a telephone cord.
  18. Distel would probably be the best interim knot I can think of.

  23. I know what you mean but I wouldn't exactly call the vt/hc bulky or cumbersome. More like streamlined and awesome.
