  1. it had a rather large cavity and was deemed unclimbable, until I turned up. Cherry picker my ar**
  2. Pollard??? 90% reduction??? or habitat totem pole??? either way it used to be a blooming huge sycamore. And yes that is how the customer wanted it leaving.
  3. Depends. Do you work for VOSA?? It states LWB Transit 190 on the V5, but I'm not sure. How much weight?? until its full haha
  4. I did a monterey cypruss that was similar, put 3 ratchet straps up the trunk at 10ft intervals, job was a pleasure haha. SWB - stop changing your avator.haha
  5. Yeah thats right, and a curved side would look daft.
  6. yeah it is mesh on bulkhead and roof, holes are small enough that only a bit of dust gets through, was basically jammed together with anything that i could lay my hands on, haha, Total cost...................approx £125 3 sheets of ply would be £90 ish.
  7. I was stuck with what I had, but I actually think I would have cut the sloped them aswell haha. Just for the look.
  8. haha, I wish, if I had a workshop like that I wouldnt be climbing trees in the snow. My workshop is about 75% as impressive as that.
  9. the sides were given to me, off a different vehicle, I didnt extend them because I wanted to keep weight down. The more space I have the more I would fill with timber and VOSA would slap me. haha. They used to be removable but rattled around and annoyed me.
  10. and here it was in action yesterday, cant get it too mucky though cos I've finally bit the bullet and organized some sign writing. I'll post the pics when its 100% complete. What do you reckon??
  11. then came, new colour, which was unfortunatley all I could find lying around in a tin big enough. started at 9am, and after 2 trips to maccy d's and 47 cups of coffe later, it was done
  12. Been driving around in the same busted old transit with shabby tipping body and greedy boards taken off a different vehicle, for asooo long now that I decided to have a revamp. Dragged it in the ol' workshop and with the help of me pal have managed to make it look slightly less shabby. Heres the pics in chronological order.
  13. and try and flog some old stock
  14. that would make a good experiment, fell one side and see how long the other survives without its co-joined twin.
  15. id get one of them tipping ones, but thats all. Cant see myself shovelling woodchip off the back.
  16. I also bought a blower (stihl bg85), cost me £34.99 including postage, had it nearly 3 years and it is only just starting to show some signs of slowing down. It gets used everyday.
  17. no wonder you have so many posts, with replies like that.:001_tongue:Spammer.
