Would like too, but its going to be built green over a drananage channel, and the only thing ive got to treat it with is creasote Not the best timber to use untreated in this situation but the only option i have.

Having a little play with movie maker. First bit the Chestnut from my other thread different angle with sound. The rest an ivy coverd birch and some Sycamores we have been felling to build a bridge with. Well done to Matt and Andrew first time they’ve been out felling since passing their cs31 <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsanM_XOJp0&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsanM_XOJp0&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Some of the half milled timber for the bridge.

Great pics Sean, Pics 1, 2 and 3 look similar to these
  10. Went back to the Beech with Ganoderma for a few pics before it gets taken down. Few pics of rapid reaction growth on buttresses Tension side Compression side
  11. Both carvings in Oak
  12. My problem was converting from a 2.5n/a to a disco 200tdi, if you allready have the def 200tdi then its not going to be that hard, definatly the most cost effective option. You may have to get a bit of pipe work altered and change the temp sender in the thermostat. Im no mechanical wizard and did it on my own, if you were closer id offer to give you a hand. if you remove engine from disco swap engine mouting brackets and turbo/inlet/outlet manifold, use new gaskets fit new clutch + release bearing and arm mate to gearbox then its just the wiring and pipe work
  13. Said before that i put a disco 200tdi lump in my defender, my major headache was gettig the turbo n associated piping to fit, you allready have the turbo and inlet manifold so its a straight swap onto the donor engine. I bought a whole mot faliure disco for £400 riped out the engine and rear axel then sold the rest, ended up a free engine n axel
  14. We use Armillatox
  15. Great pics

  20. Thanks All of the above, dont really use chisles that much, im still just experementing, my little silky 180 seems to be quite good too.
  21. Some Carvings A twisty Yew abstract. Yew Owl and Mini Oak shell. Diving Oak duck. Was an attempted Owl that went wrong.
  22. Great vid Simon Amazing work
  23. Gutted I swapped my 2.5 n/a for a disco 200tdi lump, apart form the turbo i also had to lengthen the pas and oil cooler pipes, a Disco transfer will fit straight on a defender gearbox it has a slightly different gear ratio tho.
