  1. Yes of course, they're called "Here We Are" or "There you Go" or something similar. Based in Cairndow. Have you got nothing better to do on holiday, than typing on a laptop?
  2. Thanks, Tried to take a video of El Bandito working, but couldn't keep my hands from shaking (mixture of fear and raw admiration) Know anyone looking for a very tidy Junkkari HJ260 PTO, closed hydraulics?
  3. Let me guess, going by the number plate you're going to call her Sybil!!
  4. Sells extremely well for us, as the FC Sitka plantations cover a large part of this island. We have based our entire business on the stuff. We sell it for £45 per cubic meter, free delivery - and my guys are working flat-out all winter. We produce our commercial biomass woodchip from it too. 5. £11,000 in France? Farmi PRIMERO 9000
  6. Another small point: drop the "hotmail" e-mail address. Get yourself a proper e-mail address, I know plenty of people (myself included) who will not entertain anyone with a hotmail e-mail address. "We pride are selves on high quality work." should be "We pride ourselves on high quality work." Otherwise, very nice.
  7. We assume: 1 tonne woodchip = 2 m3 Solid Wood = 5 m3 woodchip @ 30% MC But there are a whole load of variables to consider also, for example settling during transit, especially with us and bumpy, rough roads.....
  8. You don't know many livestock farmers with suckler herds then?
  9. Sitka Spruce Because of its fast growing nature and adaptability to wet soils. Plus, there is 530,000 hectares of the stuff in Scotland, around 850 million trees, all planted by hand. When seasoned, burns lovely and is used extensively down the West Coast Highlands & Islands. Oh, and you can make beer from the roots.......
  10. We sell it to heat hotels......... Chips with everything - The Arran Banner | Where your community comes alive
  11. Just for the sake of clarity, it's biomass (from trees) they are burning. Biofuel is made from plants and is usually a liquid fuel used in vehicles, and the like.
  12. That's a bit like asking "can you make good woman happy". It all depends what you are prepared to put into it, and what you expect to get out of it.
  13. You did say £250 per week, for 24 weeks = £6,000 ??
  14. No I wasn't being sarcastic, David it was a genuine question.
  15. Birch is what we all burn in Norway, is that softwood?
  16. Same machine as we have too..... Is working flat out at the moment and my two guys haven't managed to break anything yet!! Must be good quality
  17. Don't you mean "20% Moisture", ie "80% dry" ???
  18. ammo box ammunition box ex army metal tool box on eBay (end time 16-Dec-09 14:16:42 GMT)
  19. There is a company in Dorest now making new replacement doors for the MF 500 range. Don't think they include glass though, but you could ask. Pocock Tractor Supplies Ltd. [email protected] Tel: 01747 828272
  20. What you require is one of these, perhaps?
  21. I'va watched my father using that trick for years on tractors stuck in peat bogs. However, when I tried it myself, I forgot about the tube valve stem and broke it cleanly off. Add a flat rear tyre to a bogged tractor
  22. That's why you offer FREE delivery......
  23. A picture of our set-up for inspiration (not that you'll likely need it), An old ex-LA LDV tipper, side-tips logs towards processor. Operates the hydraulic pump off a 12v battery which is continually on charge. Not perfect, but works a treat, cost nothing since we sold the LDV engine for more than the cost of the truck
