  1. Another one from my younger days. [ame] [/ame]
  2. Bit more Modern!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BxfpbyV-uc]YouTube - Ok Go - Get Over It[/ame]
  3. Took off about 10 miles from my house. Gutted that I didn't fly over it!! I've got some pictures I'll stick up if I find them. Some cracking shots, but I only had my phone on me so all the pictures look lovely, but I look like I've been photo shopped in afterwards!! haha!!
  4. Little things like that, that cost nothing, are priceless in the long run. Chin up Dean, There are a few good'uns out there!!
  5. I managed to go up in one a couple of years ago, the guy said that if I could get my other half to where they were taking off, she could fly for free. she could'nt make it, so i had to spend an entire weekend in the Doghouse. The views are amazing though!! Probably (just) worth it!! haha!!

  8. My Mrs LOVES that song Mick. Proper Summer song!!!
  9. It was indeed a great cause. I got the Arborwear T-Shirt, some soap and some chocolates. More than happy to support a good cause!!! Cheers to all that organised it and the girls that gave thier time to sell the tickets.
  10. I went to a mate's BBQ yesterday, had all day Sun Cream factor 30 on, playing football (or attempting to) in the sun all day. No shirt on. Didn't get burnt at all. Great stuff. Costs a bit more than others out there, But there is nothing worse than trying to re-apply suncream when you're covered in sawdust!!!
  11. I normally just stick it on my harness tbh. If you've got a big saw though, you could also tie an alpine butterfly or bowline on a bite in the static end of your line, then there is no weight on you. Done that a few times and works well.
  12. Do you use a Hitch Climber Burrel? You can always clip the saw into the extra hole to take the weight of your harness?
  13. Thats gutting!! The questions were one of the funniest things I've read for ages. What you going to do with him now Dean? Stick him in the Free Ads in the Paper?
  14. I've just read through the questions to seller and the one about the McDonalds bag made me laugh so much I woke the Mrs up. She's not happy now...
  15. Cheers for the reply mate. I was taught to use a prussik on the static end to take the weight of the climber off the rescuer and make descent a bit easier. Not used it in a Comp though, I was just asking out of interest!!
  16. Not really a de-rail, but if you were to stick a prussick (with a 3 way locking krab on the end) to the static end of your line and then to the casualty, could you then use "snap lock" krabs for attachment as the load is being taken by the prussik? Hope that makes sense.
  17. I more or less grew up on a farm and I used to have a pet cat when I was 5 or 6, that was a lovely little thing. One day my Grandad run it over with a tractor. Never got too attached to animals after that. True story.
  18. Best of luck buddy. Hope everything goes your way.
  19. I'd save this cat. Just because its awesome (Mozza, I couldn't find a picture of a dancing bear!!!)
