  1. I could understand how they sell it as "accessory line" and you tie the knots in it yourself, But I can't understand how it can be sold ready spliced? ie, in friction cord lengths? I thought that shops can't sell something that isn't CE marked? Or am I missing something?
  2. If you've had it 6 years, It will have earnt its money!! If I had any doubts about kit that I am hanging off, I'd get a new one. Just my opinion though!

  13. Jonesie had some made for the Children's Trust I think it was. Give him a message and I'm sure he'll let you know if he has any left.
  14. Well Done. Great news. Told you you'd pass!!
  15. If its the picture I'm thinking of, It was a small cambium saver ring, that would be used to stop the termination knot interfering with the hitch. You tie the vt or what ever you want to climb on, then before you feed the crab through the eyes, you put both legs of the hitch through the small ring then connect as normal. The ring should keep the knot away from the hitch. Hope thats what you were talking about, otherwise I've waffled on for nothing!! haha!! Was this what you meant? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/15902-one-dmm-treemagineers-2.html#post291089

  24. It does sound quite cool, but if I suggested it to Mrs Tommy_B, she'd look at me like I'd suggested a two week break in Afganistan. I bet there is a Geocaching forum somewhere where everyone is going "Who's this Shrek's Wee Geocacher? How's he got 2000 posts already?" hahaha!!
