  6. i remember when i first started arb work, working with a bloke tony knows very well, that put someone in ballistics, and give them a saw, they'll think theyre invincible. give someone a saw and a pair of levis, and theyll respect the saw, and the danger. imagine a bunch of 17yr olds at arb college, wrapped in kevlar. . .there will be alot more ppe with saw marks
  7. our local dealers useless i would call them a bunch of hunts (spelling) but hunts have 1 good use. if theyve sold something faulty then they will find a way of wriggling out of it

  13. have our own yard where chippings get spread out and sink into the fens, horse paddocks, allotments ect recieved a flier from AHS recycling (i think) for free tip of chip, brash, logs ect at a peterborough plant never ever pay, someone always wants it

(i got a kit bag for climbing gear and few other bits at same time) both of mine came in at well under £100
  19. just had a look on net, mines about £40 now, but has kept me lovely n warm on the suffolk coast so-far
  20. i got a trakker "big snooze" from the fishing shop in norwich near ketts tavern lovely and soft fleece type lining, nice and big, cant remember howmuch i paid, but i do remember i told him i diddnt want to spend any more than (eg) £50 so he knocked £20 off sale price-top man!
  21. very intresting thread, £258 for that load is bloody good going mate. when i rarely do sell a load, its around £120 for level load. youre doing well! we got same style transit at work, with metal chip box on back approx 1ft higher than cab level, that, with basic tools, timberwolfe 150 chipper (3/4tonne) and around 4wheelbarrows of chip came in at 4238kg-scary. transits are siht for heavy loads

  24. anyone else notice how the commentator guy, twice said the climbers diddnt wear harnesses, only spikes. . .whilst they were flip-lining the tree, or the second time, actually putting on something looking suspiciously like a harness?!
