  1. Its not part of a harness, its a bridge extension.
  2. Or an oval mallion or ring added to the existing one then clip into that. That will align the karabiner correctly but will add more metal work to an already over cmplicated set up. Paul, have a look at the Kolibri Multislide Harness. Not used one myself but apparantly very good for the larger climber!

    TCC Work climb!

No it was slow!! I wish JT had agreed to wear the cam!
  4. I have been using a product called "asteroid" it has the same glyphosphate content as round up pro but is cheaper. Round up is just a brand name, its the glyphosphate you want! Anyway, I buy it from country wide farmers, but I think they are a southern (SW) chain only, not sure, check them out.
  5. I regularly leave rigging blocks, sometime with throwline left in. Depends if its in veiw of a road though. Someone would have had to see you workign to want to coma back and look for an opportunity. Security by obscurity, if they don't know its there its safe!
  6. Had that done to me in the past, I leave old throwlines in place intead now!

    Harkie

Not seen them before? They will be at the AA trade show so all will be revieled!
  8. OK, so this is an average climb, but no one else wanted to wear the camera! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAnJi2amtC4]YouTube - Rupe Workclimb.MOV[/ame]
  9. I've been asked to fell this Lime anyway, but presence of Phytophthora would suggest that this is the best option? Aside from that I think its lean has increased since I last saw it, and hazards below would advocate swifty removal me thinks.
  10. Phytophthora was my assumption but I'm no expert on these things!!
  11. Who was that then? PLease give further information about this. A cat (or small dog) dog lead has no spring power, it just retracts the lead if it goes slack. I use one on my comp saw and if I drop it at full stretch it will drop, there is not enough power to spring it back, unlike this bungee. At full strectch it would fire the saw back at the user. If you fumble a handsaw its best to let it go than to try and catch it. Have you seen what a handsaw will do to climbing rope under normal tension?
  12. Can anyone confirm what this is please??

  14. Why not?? Its double fixed line not SRT. IMO Kongs are better than the petzl ones in this application.
  15. I am sure Harry will do the honourable thing!!
  16. I have to say London is looking pretty smart on the tv!!
  17. I agree! I'm not bothered about tomorrow but I know it is very good for our country as a whole! We are the envy of the world and should be proud!! And I am the least conservative person I know, just wake up and reaslise when something is good for everyone else............. I am busy tomorrow so wont watch it, and would not want to, but its still a good thing for this country.
  18. Thats the gayest and most american sales line I have ever heard!!
