  1. no idea wat these are, but were growing inside a dead alder (both pics the same)
  2. got flat ground but is on a slope of 1:15ft not much of an angle but should the hoops be perfectly level? looking at using ground anchor and netted vents with timber battons... don't fancy digging trench. where would be the best place/company to buy one or find a second hand one?

    looks good and effective. the vid is no worse than theatrical special fx. is the product medically approved?
  6. i want a big one... aprox 40-45ft long and min of 14ft wide. prob cost £1200 new
  7. this is my first and second ever attempt at chainsaw carving after being inspired by this site.
  8. looking at buying a polytunnel for storage and drying of firewood, anyone got any experience of erecting these as they seem to come in different styles of grounding. not intending on having doors at either end and will run with the prevailing wind direction on a slight slope. dont know wether to have vented sides too? any help and advice appreciated

  14. too many machines on demo circuit not demoing!!! not enough bins! not enough toilets and what an awful state the ones i used were in! thanks for the beer lee. poor signage for carparks... dont you agree dean?? lol price, food etc been to the past 6 apfs, i thought locherbie one was poor and so was this one. it just seemed to lack something.... inspiration? i enjoyed both the ragley ones but this one did'nt seem to do it for me. i go to these shows to see the stuff i'm intrested in working, and alot of it wasn't and couldn't the only harvester i saw working was on the big screen if this is the way forward then i'll save my money and just watch a dvd

  16. i think he was a bit further on by the first main corner to go down hill. nice to meet you lee and steve, jonsie was a bit busy to talk to. i was there on the thursday, good show, but demo area was mainly "look at what big machines i've got" and not much working. came away depressed cos could not afford any of it, and un-inspired cos there is less work available for it. dont think i live in the right area for half of it!!

  18. jeez mate thats bad. and i thought i was havin a bad week i nearly lost my right hand a few years ago and underwent a lot to get it back working again and then broke my leg. loosing a leg is definatly worse. your old man has all my sympathy

  21. ok heres a question for you why is it that people who have logs for a fire in the house, store them as far away form the house as possible?????
  22. i usually get " can you stick it all round the back in the shed?" yes love will cost you £12 per m3 plus an extra £8 for not pre booking the stacking service before i deliver " what??? the coal man does it for free!!!" yeah, i aint the coalman and mine aint in bags!! another one is " ah i see the barrow is on the back, can you just take it down the side of the house, down the back of the garden and stack behind the shed?" certainly sir, that will cost an extra £30 "just tip it where you are my man"
  23. yeah i charge £12 for that now, when i put it up to £10 people till took it, now its £12 theres not so much intrest...... i'll put it upto £15 next time. hate stacking, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, and it hurts my back
  24. didn't like them the steel toe cap rim always cut into my toes on the joints and always got really bad sweat rash
  25. if i could sell it all fresh and cut to each customers requirments,for use next year, i would!
