  1. you really do have to go with what works for you. things happen differently in different areas y.pages and google adwords works for me but thompsons doesn't. at the end of the day hard work always pays off
  2. mates 066 blew up with cheap oil at 50:1 too the husky was a brand new 3120 blew up after 2 hrs work
  3. try the gate and barbed wire but i feel we all will become victims to this in the future. store all the ash under all the shite stuff and make them work for it. stick an old caravan on the site and make it look occupied with 12v lights on timer

  7. our problem is the advice web sites which dont get updated regulary always pup the price for firewood really low. if we ourselves set a national minimum then it would be worth while. i do belive woodfuel will be big and you 88 will get busier
  8. limit is 50k+ from base you need a tacho under 50k from base you need a drivers daily log book as for 3.5tonne vehicle i have no idea. most i know is your total weight allowed in combination is 4.25 tonne (3.5t +750kg =4,25)

  10. fully agree. we work dam hard and provide a good service and are professionals not just doing it for beer money. when anything breaks down it all comes out of the profits as does the maint, its all oil prices though. what are granny logs?
  11. i give out fridge magnets with my details on. if i were doing tree work and i desperate times you need desperate measures then on my leaflet i would have an offer. have a quote for work and be in with a chance to win a bottle of whisky pikeys dont do that! plus with every quote the customer gets to see you are genuine from talking with you
  12. for lunch we pig out in greggs or deli of the day from mc d's try to stay away from excess oil. makes me sleepy especially olive oil

  14. selling a cubic meter at around £55-60 delivered in is about £30+ per tonne if you can get the wood not worth selling for anything less after all the fuel used, rent for storage, storage containers, repairs etc

  16. no idea wat these are, but were growing inside a dead alder (both pics the same)
  17. got flat ground but is on a slope of 1:15ft not much of an angle but should the hoops be perfectly level? looking at using ground anchor and netted vents with timber battons... don't fancy digging trench. where would be the best place/company to buy one or find a second hand one?

    looks good and effective. the vid is no worse than theatrical special fx. is the product medically approved?
  21. i want a big one... aprox 40-45ft long and min of 14ft wide. prob cost £1200 new
  22. this is my first and second ever attempt at chainsaw carving after being inspired by this site.
  23. looking at buying a polytunnel for storage and drying of firewood, anyone got any experience of erecting these as they seem to come in different styles of grounding. not intending on having doors at either end and will run with the prevailing wind direction on a slight slope. dont know wether to have vented sides too? any help and advice appreciated
