  1. I'll check it out and see what the score is for next time. Cheers.
  2. Doing a fallen conifer and filled the Daily already! My 7.5t is having to gearbox sorted at the moment:( Any chip tips near here for just one load? Cheer Al
  3. I had a 2b forward control many years ago with a perkins diesel engine and tipper body on the back. Used it when I was working in Richmond Park. Wonder if it's the same one?
  4. Don't know about eye catching but it was definitely eye watering with the amount of smoke coming out the back when I was stuck behind it the other day:eek:
  5. No problem. What you doing on my patch anyway, get back to Cobham! :p
  6. That's next door to what was FHC. (not ahc). It is now Duncan Groundworks but not sure if they are taking chips anymore. Tel: 01276 476596 to find out. Try also Collier Environmental Services in Kitsmead Lane near Chobham tel. 01932 872912 How much and what type of chip are you looking to get rid of?
  7. I have just bought Jonny Burch's 35c11 off him. Is there an online parts place you guys use, or is it off to the stealers or Halfrauds? Cheers... Al
  8. Zoom in on the black car after Google car has gone past and stig has disappeared, and you can see a figure in white inside the car!
  9. What do you attach the Mike to then?
  10. Hi Peter You have to position the Sena carefully to get it in just the right place and then all fits together nicely. So much better than the arborcoms. Only thing that happens is the jog dial can keep getting pressed by branches and cutting out the intercom, but only needs to be pressed again so no real biggie. Excellent recommendation, cheers:thumbup:
  11. Drilled the helmet! Only 2 small holes.
  12. Bought some Sena smh10 headsets and fixed them to Petzl helmets. Work a treat, and we had 4 paired together the other day.
  13. Thanks for your reply. The reason I asked is because I know some people do away with the straight finger teeth altogether. Just wondering if the same setup works with greenteeth or straight ones are needed.
  14. I'm changing to Greenteeth now as run out of finger teeth and the pockets need changing as well, do an opportune time. What is the best configuration, an angle and a straight on each pocket or just angles and no straights at all? Cheers.... Al
  15. Do the 150 and 190 machines have the same brake set up, as in the same size etc or are the 190 brake shoes bigger? Any tips on getting into the brake shoes? Cheers...Al
  16. They tried, and wondered why it wasn't chipping very well:rolleyes:
  17. The operator has been spoken to and new set of blades will be charged to them - £60 + vat for genuine TW blades, which these were. Already checked the fins on the back, and one has a bit of damage but nothing missing so hopefully the balance will be Ok. Will see tomorrow if there is any vibration.
  18. A lump of metal more like. Went right through the chipper without stopping it!
  19. Was told a couple of bits of gravel had gone through my 150 Timberwolf on Friday. Went to change the blades today and found this:  These were brand new a week ago Let's see your blades....
  20. A crusty old Marine Sergeant Major found himself at a gala event hosted by a local liberal arts college. There was no shortage of extremely young idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the Sergeant Major for conversation. "Excuse me, Sergeant Major, but you seem to be a very serious man. Is something bothering you?" "Negative, ma'am. Just serious by nature." The young lady looked at his awards and decorations and said, "It looks like you have seen a lot of action." "Yes, ma'am, a lot of action." The young lady, tiring of trying to start up a conversation, said, "You know, you should lighten up. Relax and enjoy yourself." The Sergeant Major just stared at her in his serious manner. Finally the young lady said, "You know, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but when is the last time you had sex?" "1955, ma'am." "Well, there you are. No wonder you're so serious. You really need to chill out! I mean, no sex since 1955!" She took his hand and led him to a private room where she proceeded to "relax" him several times. Afterwards, panting for breath, she leaned against his bare chest and said, "Wow, you sure didn't forget much since 1955." The Sergeant Major said, after glancing at his watch, "I hope not; it's only 2130 now."
  21. I'm claiming back 10.5% Huck. You are giving HMRC 0.5% too much!
  22. In my experience I've found they are not. The quality is decidedly lacking in a lot of their stuff. When it comes to safety critical parts I like to buy genuine or oem where I can.
