  1. Got the karapan from Marshall logging it's the 8.5eh which has remote in and out and definitely wouldn't be without this feature now I've had it, you can adjust the out feed speed if you don't want it spitting it out too quickly, just remember to switch off the out feed or you'll end up with all your cable curled up on the floor.
  2. Spotted on insta so thought I'd share [emoji7][emoji7]
  3. This is what I've used to strip hazle when I make greenwood children's chairs, incredibly sharp and has quite a lot of flex to the blade for the curve. KN16 - Draw Knives - Flexcut Tool Company WWW.FLEXCUT.COM Wood carving tools. American-made and meticulously crafted for the modern wood carver. Headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA.
  4. Not arbdigger but seriously how much organisation went into getting all those machines to work so closely together in such a tight time frame.
  5. I guess a type of y drawbar might get away with saying that the trailer is actually part of the machines structure so not technically towing it
  6. This is a interesting setup with the winch mounted on the blade, if only we could get the digger/duck thing sorted out in the UK!
  7. Ah yeh I see it now the grab pipes run in at the top of the rotor, so used to looking at a conventional rotor where all the pipes enter in the same place.
  8. I guess the grab pipes don't run through that rotator so you'll not have continuous? It'll be very strong but you'll have to keep a close eye on them emong brash.
  9. Definitely works but I bet your back is giving some jip by the end of the day being bounced around in that tin box.
  10. Wish I could find the pictures but had a huge wagon grab mounted on a old axle which we towed behind a county 1174 with a early botex on the roof 20 years ago, very productive but very uncomfortable to used and almost impossible to reverse so picked up the drag and carried it which I guess you could do something similar with a smaller digger.
  11. Was just thinking about this sort of set up after looking at the thread on shears and thought it'd work really well on a 8t machine, wounder how he's got it piped up?
  12. Been having good results with our jack 200 on a e26 and cutting up to capacity while still having the ability to be quite dextras with it and like the intermercato the blade can be removed and I don't find it too heavy for a 2.6t machine although a extra counterweight would be handy when reaching sideways on a side slope but good planning and track eliminate can make things a lot more stable. I am tempted to get the pressure on my bobcat checked after reading what Eddie said as could still improve it if it's down a bit especially with having twin rams in it.
  13. I resent being called soft... Getting lazy I'll take [emoji39][emoji39] Partly a time thing as wanted to be in nd out quick as some of the estate residents weren't too happy about the job being done so wanted it all done in a day while they were out
  14. Health has part to do with it as I was suffering from migraines and started to put together that it was often after a high fume day so made the switch initially for hedge cutting as found that was a frequent trigger then just for everything. Conviniance is another part as there's always fuel in the yard when we need it and saves lads having to call in or worse go out of there way to pick up fuel on the way to the job saving time and wages, we don't have to run tanks dry if a machine isn't going to be used for a while and they always start when they are picked up again. Plenty of people I know have had problems with auto tune saws getting upset and running badly on pump fuel but we have never had any problems and I put that down to consistency in fuel quality.
  15. Everything that'd normally run on mix is on aspen in our yard and has been for at least 4 years now. The only thing on pump fuel is the stump grinders.
  16. Have been getting it in packs from my local dealer for about 4 years now but getting a pallet at a time is far more convenient and even got myself a nice strong storage box to keep it all in as well [emoji16]
  17. Last weeks reduction of a aging Oak with a crane to avoid damaging the lower canopy and all the garden tat in the 4 it was over.
  18. Got to be a absolute min 200kg each so 400 on pick up which might be OK - just but 18 on trailer would be 3.6t and that trailer at a guess will be 1t.... On the other comment the modern vehicle are definitely better and far more capable of taking the loads but in doing so are a lot heavier so legally can carry less so eventually I'd hoped the limit on a normal licence will go up or that you can do the equivalent of a trailer test and go up to say 5ton without needing everything associated with the current licencing.
  19. Let's have this picture thread back containing at least one picture per page, spotted earlier, not on a public highway at the time and no evidence he was or will be but we all know the likely hood it has or will be out there!
  20. My bad I missed that on the overlay yeh he got 18 which I far better, not that he'll actually serve that.
  21. Just made this for our new shower room Old Ash burr I had for years but had lots of small faults in it so filled them with resin to stabilise and seal it.
  22. That's taken a while to come to court, wes talking to the chainsaw starting lad not long after the attack and he was saying the whole thing was so barbaric and like something out of a war film. 4 years for that is a joak!
  23. We aren't seeing anything that can't be seen from public roads or even Google earth. Would be different if we were working inside some of the buildings and taking pictures of the munition stores or armaries. The us bases are definitely stricter like when we did a job on menworth Hill even our kit bags were checked over.
