  2. and will tow that trailer and digger both easily and legally! good looking trailer mate,looks like a carbon of an ifor tt105,about time they had some competition,they're good but by no means perfect

  4. bought one new in 94 and it self-destructed.............after it shook my teeth out,gave me tinnitus and white finger,the whole process took only 3 weeks!! quite liked our short time together though

  12. hey jo,i've had her backing my fourtrak and tipper up a wide,straight drive many times with no success,trust me she needs a sooty van
  13. phoned round today for a few quotes.struggled to keep up with log deliveries this winter so gonna invest in another vehicle,missus gotta drive it so not too big,thinking hilux tipper,daihatsu hijet etc,phoned round for some insurance quotes,both full no claims, obviously second vehicle for both of us,same address etc etc,quoted me 300 quid,her 500 quid!! one even said they load premiums for women driving tippers any advice or reccommendations appreciated,steve
  14. this week i have been mostly toasting my sarnies on dry blackthorn.i do have a peshwari naan in the pantry,will take it tomorrow and see how it goes
  15. ditto here,my last trailer did it all the time after 3 years from new,i by-passed it in the end and it tipped on the isolating switch.stolen last year so replaced with an 18 month old one and now thats doing the same,good clean up and its fine all summer,they do get alot of cr*p in them,especially if off road and through mud etc in winter
  16. I use them quite often,not as cheap as they were a while back but very reliable and never been sent the wrong thing.helpful on the phone too

  18. hi jay,just to let you know we still can't get hold of the guy about the landy.we gonna shift it out the barn into another one so i can use it.laurie has dropped a note through his door with my number on so if he aint moved,died,or been locked up he should get in touch.if it was mine i'd let you have it tomorrow,i also get round a few farms so i'll keep an eye out,cheers,steve

  20. well,well,well.finally had it to bits today and sure enough them 2 copper bits were worn down to virtually nothing,cheers CTS and wills-mills.just gotta source some new ones now

  22. no mate but i'll ask down the farm tomorrow for ya.fine line between legal and sensible.i spent the last 2 harvests towing an 18 ton trailer with probably 25 ton of beans in back and forth with a clapped out jd6910!!

  25. its off the truck at the minute so i'll check them out in the morning,nothing looks worn or broken up so you could be onto something,i'll pm ya if i can't find them!
