  5. ( after all - a mature Oak 5m from yr house WILL affect yr property ! Arboricultural Implications Assessment )
  6. If yr putting a root barrier in, and not protecting a Third Party property also, I would not worry too much abt the 5m distance - as yr on limestone not shrinkable clay- and yr maintaining the planting as a hedge line, it would not bother me if mine was right up to my house. K
  7. Definately have it ready - am sure we in fr nother dry summer, bark mulch between n you should have a cracking hedge ? , put bird feeders every 3m an they will do yr soil fertilising for you tooo. K
  8. Oh Mr Stubby, yr on fire this week ! Gonna have to up my game ? K
  9. Basically @Jon Heuch make sure there is a caveat in yr survey conditions stating storm force winds cannot be adequately quantified in yr Tree Risk assessment ( which is why seat belts in cars are not tested in 100mph crashes ) K
  10. ( got a key for every gate here ) k

  14. I know Rich ? i am just a bit precious with saws. FC would chop theirs in every year, but on their work, saw had paid for itself anyway. K
  15. Look, yr in forestry. Yr cutting to tonnage per day - you bought yr own saw, is it gonna help you to run it into the ground whilst other guys are stacking up 3 or 4 tonnes more than you per day ?? Or just learn the tips n have more wallet cash instead of repair bills at end of week. K
  16. I would say " if yr gonna run my expensive saws like that, that i bought for my job that pays yr wages - you can look for another job next week pal" k
  17. Yea - sod that. Let it fall on next doors shed. Not yr tree is it ! K
  18. I would say a remanufacturing project fr her. Turn them into Punk dolls or summat. Spray paint n get them ready fr Halloween or summat. K
  19. Course the downside of this business is a lot more people online talking shite instead of doing summat productive ( consequence of low oil price i guess) just checked thru climbing kits, fitted front n back new door mats, new filter housing on Skyliner engine n oil changed, ran up the old couple next doors merc n bmw cost they isolated an dont want flat batteries, just sat fr dinner now ( oh, an she got tea in bed an cooked breakfast this morning) K
  20. For some reason this flagged up........ ? Armed police called to 'knight' with 3ft sword WWW.BBC.CO.UK A family calls the police after the man is spotted running around a lake with the blade. Just sayin k
  21. Just keep practising the accents - n dont read his book ? K
  22. Eeeeeeee . K
  23. Nice job. Work plenty of sand into soil. Beech dont like their feet wet. But excellent choice fr hedging. K ( be worth getting a trickle irrigation pipe ready - as our summers be a bit dry of late)
  24. Am enjoying the better air quality, low fuel prices, more visible wildlife an quiet roads - Trump n Boris are irrelevant. ( always were really ) K
  25. A good saw should last you a lifetime. Ive had ten years out of a saw and frankly now that parts are way cheaper and easily available - seeing saws buggered after 18months grinds my balls. K
