  2. Felled a small dying back lime tree on my local golf, we could see a few balls inside, but got a big surprise.....over 200 balls..there was an old jackdaws nest in side, must hav been busy collecting these
  3. well the tree in question is not native to the British Isles.....plant some oaks or whatever in its place

  5. mines 3yrs old n january......lower roller a bit harder to get out but still better than old 150 bottom roller

  7. why would the sensor stop the rollers feeding in, it measures speed of the flywheel, allowing the anti stress to kick in when it slows down........rollers work perfect when fed in from centre or right, an oil valve sensor faulty or something seems more likely
  8. Hi Timberwolf when feeding branches the rollers always stop when fed on the left side of the rollers....very annoying having to reverse... for branches that should go thru no problem cheers
  9. what springs do u have on ur 150......when i had a 150 i put 190 springs on it....made a big difference...a bit fiddlely to put 1 side on...had to loosen drive pump to fit it on then tightened up

  11. broke the av mounts on control box of timberwolf 230vtr....wiggling between pine trees last thing tonight...usually i just order them from a timberwolf parts dealer on line.....just priced them up for 4 delivered £24.......On Ebay .......£6.50 Delivered........a saving of 4 pints of lager or a bottle of gin????
  12. Beech is the best...but i burn anything from leylandi to beech...anything seasoned and dry
  13. put an advert in clarks at parkgate, they have a small board for some small adverts(or did have) doesnt cost anything....plenty of quality cutters in dumfries area.

  17. it was the belts....didnt seem all that slack....tightened them up a bit and stress workin.....cheers
  18. huskies was a longer bar and the stihl was at the thinner end LOL and the stihl jumped the start lol
