    From the album: Tree Work

  2. Massive fell Highscale, eat your heart out Axe men! Todays job reducing a horse chestnut in Bristol City Centre, had traffic lights out and our groundsman got lots of abuse from rude impaitient drivers glad I was up the tree away from it all.
  3. Yes, we hire one from a local dealer and its rubbish! They've had it for about a year and its got through about 4 clutches, its had engine problems and all sorts. Recently sent it back to the franchise (who no longer sell them) to go over everything and we're testing it tomorrow to see if its any better.
  4. Nice job to have. Did you get any busy bodies come out with the usual 'your not taking them down are you?'
  5. Looks really natural, proper job!
  6. Great shape, looks a hell of alot better than a pollard. I've never reduced/pollarded a pop, most people want them out.
  7. I'm intrigued, do you have a website?
  8. Thanks guys. As you come into Bradford on Avon from Bath on the A363 its the first left where a small old Hospital used to be its being turned into A few big houses. Theres a couple of huge Wellingtonias out on the road side, you know the place?
  9. Tried that, but after thinning you couldn't tell because of the London Plane behind it Maybe it looks different cause its 30% thinner?
  10. Lime Thin out down in Bradford on Avon, got about 100 mature trees in this development to do before January, should keep us busy.
  11. Inspiring pictures can't wait until the day I get to do a job like that.
  12. Nice weather Are you converting the back into a chip box? And what sort of weight will the hiab lift?
  13. After the Egg Mc muffins and coffee's from the drive thru we never usually get on site before 9, then we often work up to 4.30-5. On a few occasions we've started work in the centre of Bristol at 6am and didn't get any complaints.
  14. Forget rigging gear, I wouldn't even atempt that without a crane
  15. I was there 05/06 so that makes it 2 years ago, my bad! I expect Mike Cullen trained you too, great bloke.
  16. Yea I was there 3 years ago now, did you study there? You might know a chap I work with, he was there last year.
  17. Nice job. Is that in the village of Willesley by anychance?
  18. I love the truck in the second picture, what is it?
  19. Is the picture in you avatar at a Christian centre just outside of cannington by any chance Gayn?
  20. Nice job. I'd like to see what a big pine dismantle looks like over there
  21. I would have definately used a mewp. Pine branches are damn heavy, imagine being anchored in at the top of that leaning tree and branch walking out to the tips of each branch to make a hand held cut. Personally I just wouldn't feel comfortable.
