  3. just wondering if you guys use slings during lowering work?(see my avatar)ive noticed that some of you just use a big biner around the branch what are the pros and cons ofusing slings?

  5. must be different in welly cos we dont remove to many big trees using an 88 to bring trunks down,the pic in my avatarwas very different the day before snow and rain down to sea level and wind,normal nz weather 4seasons in 1 day.
  6. I am of them,the work is very different(from what ive seen on here),easier access(most of the time),hardly rains compared to the uk,bigger chippers. would suggest just phone/email companines then find your feet. Hope thats helpfull

  17. we have a incentive scheme,were we hand out flyers or get work from a neighbour and get 5% of whatever the job is worth the goes in a pot and either share it out or do sumthing together ie the pub

  19. Just got my sawpod and think its great feels like im still wearing it after wearing it all morning,dunno how many in nz have them,maybe im the first!highly recommended
