  1. Cut them between the growth points in foot lengths ! I got £30 a foot for the last biggun i did !

  5. Ah I see !! Thats good form for a UK company to trade in the US...they're fiercely opposed to buying foreign products out there ! I think the stuff is kind of mid-range in the quality stakes ?! Its not the most expensive so I guess its fairy nuff !

  7. When I was in America I remember the US flag on their stuff......they seem to have spread to the UK now ? I see Fletcher Stewart distribute the stuff here, I would be interested to see where its manufactured ?? Can you find out Steve ? Id be impressed if it was northampton...
  8. Stein, Maine USA ! Prob manufactured in S.America, most US clothing products are.....typically look nice but have'nt got it where it counts ! Get a refund, 4 months is not an acceptable life for these boots ! Ask Jonsie what he thinks - get a traders viewpoint ?

  10. Vermeer is a quality machine pal ! pretty hefty build and power ! Not positive re. spout but probably is removeable !
  11. I had some Stein boots and they were ok...lasted longer than 4 months but not as long as Haix or Stihl boots. I wouldnt bother again ! I think they're American too.......this speaks volumes to me !
  12. Just remember, mogs are great IF youve got the turnover to be able to run one !! when they go wrong its £££££serious ! I ran one for 3 years and they are fabulous ! They have to be MAKING you money though !!
  13. yes stihl make them its not too old a model ! the guy that runs mister solutions is very helpful/knowledgeable so contact him through the site ! he is known as the blindstickinsect !!!
  14. the 395 is great till they start playing up ! then theyre a pig to fix ! i just sold mine and got a 660 ! the 395 will run a 36" bar no probs though, a great saw when all set up right !

  18. Go onto the mr. solutions website, follow the instructions, you can get the part no and buy/order it online !

  22. Ive had all 3 - TD5 deffo the best engine, shame the same cant be said about the rest of the machine ! If you can get 30MPG your doing well ! Make her make you money !! thats my advice !
  23. Yeh, theyre great saws, i have one with a 4 ft bar, build quality is superior to the 088 - go get it IMO !!!
  24. Id sell as is as they make far more than theyre worth anyway ! People think you need to show a ticket to buy, retailers are often not interested !
