  1. Got an infestation of these critters, making a right meal of the foliage on every tree down at the yard and have noticed trees all over the area are munched on Got one on my neck and it nipped me the little got
  2. Hedge doing really well nearly three months on showing good vigour. Looks like I'll only lose one tree out of 150 planted

  4. Good point Stereo, I must make the yard Spick and span before inviting any planner to site. Been down today, tidying up a bit. First two are before and after, others are my yard and the land.

Just had estimate back for electric supply to site: £120k They haven't visited site nor studied any power grid maps, they are proposing to bring a new 11kv supply 800 yards from a main road when there's buildings less than half that distance away. I'll have to organise a site visit otherwise the projects dead in the water

Ht75 is a pole pruner You can fit a trimming head on but allow for replacing the complete shaft once a year at £200 as the bearings in the shaft are not made to with stand the forces involved to power a trimmer head. That said, if you keep the trimming head well lubed as I do, the shaft may last a bit longer as mine as done two years. Buying of the bay, you can bet your bottom dollar that the shaft bearings will be on their way out. Price? As little as possible because of the above. I just bought new to save the hassle and factor the cost into my trimming jobs

  15. Cheers Charlie, good to know...the trees in the photo are actually coming out next year and I sprayed a good dose round them on purpose as I want to see if it affects them. This is the first time I have used tordon so want to see what it does and doesn't do
  16. Sprayed with Tordon 22k 24 hours ago. Awesome stuff, everything but the grass is wilted even the thistle and bramble.
