  1. You can tell he's a Cockney from that photo!
  2. Do you two do many domestic jobs, if so do you take the mog onto peoples drives and does it for example crack flags?
  3. Too slow Dave. I have one and I'm always wrestling with the logs to try and part the stringy stuff that doesn't fully split. Apart from that, if someone wasn't out playing with snow, they'd be crunching numbers for my new Hydraulic one
  4. I've 3.5 acres of oak woodland infested with rhodie, can't get to the base of the trees for the stuff. No problems in there, all trees nice and healthy. Meeting with forestry officer to talk about grants to remove all the rhodie at the end of the month. Trouble is, you can carry out work straight away but grants not payable till 2009
  5. You should tell him he was the laughing stock of Huddersfield, it has gone round all the local tree surgeons who are now treating it as a right joke. But wait till you get your money first.
  6. True words Bodean, nothing gets the adrenalin going like too many wraps. Look after your rope man:icon14:
  7. I couldn't have done that to that spec in one day, what were you thinking Kev  Never mind we all cock up. Have priced jobs and ten minutes into the job realised it was underpriced
  8. Toooo much information there Pete!!
  9. I hope your groundie threw himself under you to break your fall
  10. How did you find the green hilux for weight carrying? I did consider buying one for converting into a tipper but wasn't sure how it would handle the weight or whether it would carry as much as my 130.
  11. He needs Liam as rope man, top lowerer, climber doesn't feel a thing. Terminal velocity to zero just before it touches the floor in one smooth flowing action. Top lowering man.
  12. Out of interest, did you tell them what tickets you have if any or did they ask if you had any tickets. As far as I'm aware they presume you are qualified to carry out the task. Same way that insurance companies sometimes dont ask if you have a full UK license, they just ask if you have any points or convictions.
  13. Haven't had much time to go out Charlieing. But have done a pheasant day every sat for 4 months! Was glad when season ended
  14. Cheers Andy, much appreciated.
  15. I'd ov tied a piece o string round it gov n pulled it offa da shed  How ya doin, any charlies lately:proud:
  16. I doubt the customer will get back to Bob, it will be embarrassing for the customer who will have to lick his wounds. I have drove over and had a glance at the job and IMO you were way out if that's what you priced. You've priced for one day with one climber and two groundies. You would have to overdose on speed and fit turbos to the saws to get them done in one day. It should have been minimum two days with one climber and two groundies. Which converts to 2x £450 plus time already spent on emergency callout which I would have charge £200 for. All together £1100
  17. I've right enjoyed daytime telly. All the dregs of society arguing over who's shagged whos missus and who's kids whos.
  18. Well, had no wind at all here today, just a light breeze and the odd shower. Feel a bit of a turd now, having the day off
  19. Woohhh Stay well clear, alarm bells should be ringing there. Zero feedback Broken english description Bank transfer, big no no Item not in london
  20. You should really have been asking who did the emergency work first, it is obvious that someone had started the job, therefore you would have been standing on someones toes, seen as how we all know each other. Why did you have to get in a climber?
  21. No wind as yet, very calm but a little wet, I'm sure it's on its way though.
