    I have just made a brew for myself and when I went to drop the teabag in the cup I missed, so I picked it up and went to drop it in again and missed again..........6 times all together I missed the cup !

    When I checked with the LA the Order was "about" to expire, but they witheld that info, so by the time my app went in............... I dont think it would have made any difference

    I have just been threatened with legal action by a client because of my LA I submitted a Tree Works application to fell 100 trees (leylandii) with a temp TPO on them, in the time between the enquiry and the app being submitted the TPO expired because the LA are run off their feet and obviously put it to one side to do later. My application then prompted them to renew the tpo and now I am getting blamed because the owner of the trees is now saying he could have felled them in the time inbetween Trouble just follows me

    Thats why I could never hire it out on its own Peter. Once you get to know the machine it is a very good machine, but it takes a long time

    Haha. I've had that little chestnut a few times. I just tell them they can keep the wood if they wish or I'll bring it back minus transport cost and they can have a go at selling it for the price of the job

    It will run it The 755 three point will lift 350kg and it is a 20hp tractor which is enough to run the splitter no worries. ..and if I were being honest, I would have that splitter back over the brand new version I have just bought

    A day of and so far I've spent: £95 red diesel £36 on a cylinder of helium £32 on a new acetylene regulator £32 on a new Oxygen regulator £x amount on account with a fresh argoshield light cylinder and an Acetylene cylinder. Expensive day off

    I think that is what we need, "outside the obvious box thinking" It's the easiest thing in the world to take someones idea and refine it. This smart winch could be a very usefull tool if refined, but nothing new. I personally aim to avoid lowering at all, so a GRCS would sit on the shelf for periods of 2 years at a time

    True and this is only my theory, but I would say it is the first half wrap that takes the vast majority of the hammer, the rest takes very little. So can we make that first half wrap more efficient ? Heat dissapation would be a problem and would have to involve cooling fins inside the bollard or outside the tube ?
