  1. did this today,nothing to major but good fun and made everybodies life involved a hell of a lot easier.few pics and a vid.pilot was very very good plus hes got 24000 hrs experience so no surprised.
  2. well entered my 1st climbing comp and had a great day.beautiful sunny day in auckland 20 climbers and a well organised event.enjoyed the work climb overall and the speed climb was harder than i expected.a good turn out of english lads with Drew Bristow coming a very close 2nd much to the dissapointment of his teen rival matt glen adam holland finished 15th and i 16th not bad for two newbys and up against some very smooth kiwi boys.great day will def be entering again.
  3. the clip definately makes a difference m8 although im still struggling wit footlooking and havent had the time to practice,they do a body thrust aswell as footlocking in the comp but im not keen on that.

  7. work climb is 1 of the events which involves climbing round the tree to various points which have bells attached that you have to ding wit your blacksaw and then lots of guinness.
  8. it was a nice oak.we throwbagged in but the work climb starts from the top and yes that boy is quick

  11. did a practice work climb today for the nz regionals with scott forrest(uk&nz champ,2nd in the worlds). tried to do the work climb in the required 5mins and only managed 7mins.not bad and quiet happy with how the layout was and how i attacked it. its amazing how much you learn in a short space of time when climbing with the top dogs. he did it in 3mins30 and didnt really try. comp is march 21st will let you know how i get on.

  23. went for a full english with my brother,quoted 2 jobs and got them both,weather been rough as guts on the gold coast.
