  6. ive had my tachyon for about 6ish months and its getting better and better, small in length vt,s will constantly cause the tachyon to coil which is very annoying but i found when i lenghtened (if thats a word ) my vt,problem solved but only use it for nice climbs and as said before its not the toughest rope like blaze and can fluff up and the individual strands can get nicked easily,in my opinion, but yes a very good rope, enjoy

  15. took this down last wk had heaps of wind blown damage that had been left in crown, also took down a beautiful beech on same job, tried to talk the client,no chance, beech was too stunning for photos, was a bad day at the office but elm came down sweet as.
  16. We unfortunately had to take down this elm in the botanical gardens in christchurch,a large limb had failed which is pictured on the ground, personally think the remainder of the tree could of been end weighted but in true NZ styles it was " take it down, its un safe " sad but true im afraid, admittedly it has continuous targets daily i.e joe public but the local council were too quick to call the removal in my eyes,ANYWAY,heres some pics, started wih a 150 tonna and ended up with a 220 to take the second half down including 2 6t butt logs.good job but was a shame a little bit more thought wasn't involved.
