  1. i concur with mr holland.we are professional arborists and if we see something potentially dangerous i dont see anything wrong with pointing it out and in my opinion i would be grateful if someone pointed out a hazardous tree to me in my garden i.e kids and all.

  3. hey m8.all gd here,havent started pop yet,think its goona be a while.so when did you work wit luka.yeah im in the spratwaffler club but dont worry we dont have webbed feet or nout.

    so a new climber on the scene,thats gd.hope rob is paying him what hes worth.YEAH RIGHT.did dan do them pops?.yeah heard they had a few late days recently.

  4. daddy mac i took down this wk,has a communications tower behind it that has'nt worked since day 1,i wonder why.could of taken a few more.she came down quietly.thank god we leaving the stump

[ why hump logs all day, tiring yrself out- you could save yr strength fr better things later K im hearing ya m8.ive only been back in NZ for 2 months and my back is feeling so much better as i hardly ever move any logs out here,it makes a huge diffrence to my day,especially on a tree like that,watching the hiab lift 10+ ton of wood off site put a huge smile on my face :biggrin:

  10. thought he was but luckily it was a gd tip.took 3 days to takedown but could of been 2 if i had the crane from the start.is gonna all be cut into firewood.got a poplar coming up thats bigger with twice as much wood to come,my company has got 8 days on it.should be interesting
  11. i know those pops alright took 5 of em down in high winds,was gd to finish but the ones mark is talking about are def MEWP material just because its safer and quicker but some people will never listen,just make sure dan doesnt go anywhere near em mac eh
  12. smeared mine in butter and gave it a gd wash,came up a treat but a bit slippy on the prusik for the next few days
  13. took out this old girl last wk.she went quietly had the crane in half way through the job,dont ask.went well over all but did get my ropes seriously coated in sap but thanks to drew that has been resolved.
  14. i was on 120-150 in the uk and was happy more with the latter obviously which i thought should be the going rate.its tough out their and we all deserve a gd wage for a honest days graft

  21. down draft was surprisingly tame as was the noise which was all related to the rear rotor blades
  22. plz note the green mat on the clients property which is his personal driving range into the ocean and the burnt pohuts which we removed as a rresult of kids playing with fire.naughty naughty very naughty
