  1. ......I'll get my coat.
  2. Not Worcester City Councils list mate, I looked today........ (your prob on the county list) Get Stuart to e-mail me at work and we'll sort something out.
  3. Well done frank!! Fantastic News, feeling really happy for you both!!
  4. To be perfectly honest I’m not sure! Basically it’s now official that I can tender for private work (when the public enquire about tree contractors) To be honest I’m too busy anyway with the highways contract to worry about the private stuff, I’ll send some your way if you like………
  5. Fair play mate, I would have been keen in getting that work myself (being a Pershore man) – Nice it went to some local lads though! I’ve just heard I’ve been put on the councils approved contractors list, guess I’ll be busy in my own city from now on..lol
  6. One down, two to go......
  7. Thanks for posting them bro . They look alot better than before! How long ago is it since you last did them? Good little contract that, by-the-way....££££!
  8. A big thank-you to everyone who’s responded! Very helpful, thanks guys.
  9. Here is an idea – Why doesn’t the AA (our self appointed governing body and representative) hire someone to investigate the high increase in theft? I’m sure they can afford it!
  10. As most of you are aware, if your drivers passed their test after 1st.January ’97 they are limited to tow up to 750kgs. I’ve got to get my lad qualified to tow the chipper in order to make the team independent of me. He took his test after 1st. January ’97 . Out truck is 5.5 tonnes and the chipper is about 2 tonnes. As I understand he needs to obtain C1+E theory and practical. So the questions are…..Has anyone done it? How much did it cost? Was it easy to pass?
  11. Spot on fella!
  12. Your right Bob, I think the unit was created after one of the E/A lads took his knee off top cutting a Willow tree (the limb did what all Willows do and split, caught under his knee and - OUCH!)
  13. ......only two left Tony.
  14. Jesus! That’s one hell of a lot of kit! I’m surprised there weren’t more vehicles pinched as it looks like a large set-up. Organised Crime? Where is this stuff going? ....also alot of detailed information.
  15. Excellent bat habitat! Hope you were just up there doing a survey.
  16. Nice one! Nothing like that feeling when you pass, it worth all the stress just to get that high!
  17. I love that Landrover!
  18. Took my daughter swimming this afternoon at Pershore, nearly fell over when I saw the Willows......Come on, where are the pics....? lol
  19. You strange man! Personally I cant stand NPTC assessments or any type of exam or test. I tend to be my own worst enemy and put myself under pressure. Its always nice when its over though – just kick back and relax! Good-luck dude, although I’m sure you won’t need it!
  20. No, another one - We have two Elms!!! I'll try and hunt it down.
  21. 47 members! Don't we just love our Landrovers..
  22. We have an Elm here in Worcestershire (its recently hit the headlines because apparently no one knew it was!) The only Elm I’ve seen is it passing through the chipper..lol
  23. Yes mate – Under a huge Cedar in Worcester. Some local (concerned) residents called me on seeing hole appear more or less over night. I monitored the foxes activity and it turns out they were just foraging/playing silly buggers. I filled the hole in after a few weeks, should have called in the hunt, lol
  24. Nice Pics David. I keep getting asked by Worcester County Cricket Club to prune the trees that hinder the view of Worcester Cathedral from New Road – Every year they get the same reply….No.
  25. Tony, your in the wrong trade mate! Simply stunning Picture – and its so nice of you to share your work (most photographers wouldn’t dream putting their work on a public forum) I was thinking of doing another photography course at Evesham, might just hire you for a week instead!
