  5. Mate, I have one big regret in life – Not joining the forces. If that’s what you want to do – Go for it! You wont get a second chance. I used/still do analyse things, so much so that by the time I analysed joining the Royal Marines I was too bl00dy old! Go for it.
  6. Too much time is the answer! You guys that are married or have partners – I don’t know how you cope. Thank goodness I have no one to please other than myself! Its good to have a break though – I sneak down the pub, and then sneak outside and get the Blackberry out – Oh dear…
  7. Andy - you've been moderated :001_tongue:
  8. Burnt? In Scotland? You been knocking back the Irn Bru again Stevie?
  9. Login | Facebook There you go Josh.
  10. Arbtalk on Facebook It occurred to me the other day that Arbtalk didn’t have its own group on Facebook. Well it does now. I’m a self confessed Facebook addict and thought it might help ‘spread the word’ of Arbtalk to a wider community – via updates, events etc. Its also very useful if you have the FB application on your mobile, (you can text and communicate with your ‘friends’ for free). Anyway, if you have FB feel free to join – The F.R. Jones and Son show is listed as an event on there, but please only register as ‘going’ if you are definitely going. Cheers, John. http://www.facebook.com/groups.php?ref=sb#/group.php?gid=128622575070

  16. Ours wasn’t on the yard long enough for me to look under the bonnet. All I know, its was gutless and leaked oil.
  17. The engine hasn’t got a turbo for good reason – it’ll blow up! We had an LDV once, used it for two days and then went back to a transit - Never again.

  21. The Giant Dean. The Zaskar (made by GT) was a good bike - they made a Ti and a Alu. version many moons ago.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
