At just after 2 am today while the wind was howling and things not fastened down where thrashing arround. I was woken by sounds unfamilliar, including the sound of a steel bar being dropped. That was enough for me to rise and look out the window. What did I see? Nothing but the top of a head by the garage door. It seems I had interupted a burgurlary , of my own property. I opened the window and shouted What the F. are you doing , whence three not so young blokes scarpered up the road. The wife called for the plod while i went out in my night attire. No actual entry was made, they didnt have much chance with a light sleeper like me having a bedroom over the garage. They probably had never tried to break into a garage with an electric roller shutter garage door before. The tossers where on foot and in moments the copper chopper flew round and put more wind up the buggers. Sadly they where not to be found. Today was spent purchasing additional security devices . The details of which I shall not divulge in this place. Sleep well friends .
